Jennie Garth’s 3 Kids: All About Luca, Lola and Fiona

Jennie Garth is close to her three children – Luca, Lola and Fiona – who she shares with ex-husband Peter Facinelli. The former couple, who split in 2012, had Luca in 1997, Lola in 2002 and Fiona in 2006.

Despite her busy schedule packed with shows like Beverly Hills, 90210 and What I like about youGarth always found time to bond with her girlfriends.

She bonded with them over clothes, taught them how to drive and even took them to one of the August 2023 Taylor Swift Eras Tour shows in Los Angeles. When he’s not hanging out with his daughters, he shows them off on social media and praises them in his captions.

In September 2009, Garth joked to PEOPLE that she and her daughters love being together “more than most child psychologists or even my mother would say is healthy.” More than a decade later, in May 2021, Garth opened up to PEOPLE about parenting older children.

“My job now is to just kind of keep them in the right lane as they do their thing and become who they are and who they want to be,” she said. “And I’m just there to support that and kind of push them left and right to keep them going in the right direction.”

The actress noted that it’s a “completely different game” when girls become young women.

“When you’re a parent, I could breathe the wrong way, and it would be like the end of the world,” Garth told PEOPLE. “But most of them think I’m pretty cool and we can hang out.”

Garth and Peter had their eldest daughter, Luca, on June 29, 1997. At that time, the actress was 25 years old and starred in Beverly Hills, 90210. In May 2021, she told Yahoo! Life she would “do it again in a heartbeat,” adding, “I love being a young mom.”

While talking to Cookie in In October 2009, Garth described how she had adjusted her work environment to accommodate baby Luca. “I set up the whole camp … next to my trailer with a fake yard, toys, a slide and a baby pool,” she said.

Set designers even built a wooden fence around what she called “Baby Land.” Garth told the magazine, “I joke that I moved from Beverly Hills to my little trailer park in the back.”

Luca inherited her mother’s acting skills and appeared opposite Garth in the 2019 Lifetime movie. Your family or your life. She also played roles in series Interracial and Ad output that same year, but Luca is also a filmmaker.

In November 2018, she shot a short film called Arm Candy and shared it on Instagram.

After earning her bachelor’s degree from New York University, she graduated from The New School in May 2023, and her parents were there to celebrate the milestone. Garth posted sweet photos from the special day, featuring the rest of the family.

According to her LinkedIn, Luca currently works on special events for amFAR, a non-profit organization focused on ending the AIDS epidemic.

On Luca’s 26th birthday, Garth shared a touching tribute on Instagram with a snap of her daughter enjoying the beach.

“It’s this beautiful soul’s birthday!” she wrote the title. “At every moment you shine from within. You are pure love. I am so happy that you are my daughter. I ❤️ you endlessly. HAPPY BIRTHDAY my first born bird⭐️💕⭐️.”

Garth and Peter welcomed their second child together, daughter Lola, on December 6, 2002.

When she was 5 years old, she encountered health problems and was diagnosed with systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis, better known as Still’s disease. The condition is a type of inflammatory arthritis that can cause fever, rash, and joint and muscle pain, according to the Mayo Clinic.

In October 2022, Garth revealed Lola’s condition to PEOPLE. “Watching my daughter suffer was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to go through,” the actress said.

She remembered that it got so bad that they sought medical attention for Lola. “She was in the hospital for quite a few days getting treatment there,” Garth said, noting that it was “definitely a difficult time” for their family.

When Lola was a high school senior, Garth made her prom dress himself, and she created a strapless black dress for the occasion.

“The thing is, she could have asked me to buy her a fancy dress, but she wanted it to be homemade,” Garth wrote on Instagram alongside photos of her daughter posing in the dress. “She wanted it. I don’t know, it makes me proud. And it made her so proud to be able to say ‘mummy made me a dress’. ”

Lola seems to enjoy returning the favor and making things for her mother. In an Instagram post in December 2023, she shared photos of a patchwork quilted jacket she made from recycled fabrics for Garth.

In terms of education, she graduated from Oakwood School in LA in June 2021 and went on to attend college at New York University like her older sister.

“The thought of Lola Ray going to college honestly gives me pause,” Garth told PEOPLE in August 2021. She added, “Then I’m reminded that this is what I worked for as a mother in the end, let my bird leave the nest and fly away … I get excited about her. It usually makes me redirect my emotions around everything.”

Fortunately, it seems that they still find time to spend time with each other. In a January Instagram video, Garth documented her and Lola hitting the gym together. They did push-ups, squats, lifted weights and more.

“It’s been two weeks since I felt well enough to practice,” Garth wrote. “Thank you my sweet @raylolaray for walking with me to get back on track.”

Fiona Eve Facinelli, 18

Garth and Peter welcomed their youngest daughter, Fiona, on September 30, 2006.

With only two posts on Instagram, Fiona is the most intimate of Garth’s daughters. She seems to be enjoying the outdoors – in January 2023 she shared photos of herself posing in a snowy setting, and her August 2023 post includes pictures of her sitting outside on a sunny day. More recently, in January 2024, she went hiking in the snow with Garth and her sisters, according to a post from the actress on social media.

On Fiona’s 16th birthday in September 2022, Garth reflected on their relationship, sharing an adorable throwback photo of her and her daughter pressing their faces together.

“It is my greatest pride and joy to be your mom,” the actress wrote on Instagram. “You are an extremely deep and dear person, who knows how to love with all your heart. I am so proud of you and forever grateful for being my daughter.”

She added that Fiona brought “laughter and love” to the lives of everyone who knew her.

Garth also expresses his love for Fiona with grand gestures, including giving her a BMW for her birthday.

In an Instagram post from April 2023, 90210 star shared photos of her daughter reacting to a car that was decorated with a red bow. The actress also shared a gentle reminder about her driving.

“Happy new car girl!” Garth captioned her post. “Me 💖you @fionaeveee PLEASE BE CAREFUL🙏🏻.”

Fiona celebrated another milestone in June 2024 when she attended her high school prom. Garth shared a photo of her daughter in a long black dress on Instagram.

“This will be my second to last prom with my girls. It’s always so much fun helping them dress up and feel beautiful,” she wrote. “Enjoy every moment of the trip. It goes by so quickly…”
