Jennifer Garner has a festive start to the holiday season.
On Wednesday, the 51-year-old actress was spotted in a red sleeveless mini dress at the premiere of the Netflix film in Los Angeles. Family switch. The asymmetric dress included a high neckline and a layered bottom.

Garner paired the look with black open-toe heels and large dangling earrings.
The Christmas comedy is set to hit the platform on Thursday, and The 13 Continues 30 works as a producer, in addition to starring in the role of Jess Walker.
Jess and her husband Bill, played by Ed Helms, and the rest of the family find themselves involved in a supernatural body swap.

Director Joseph McGinty Nichol, known professionally as McG, previously told PEOPLE what makes this film different from other body-swapping comedies.
“It just adds a twist, and it’s the hook and the entrance to a movie that’s about empathy and walking in other people’s shoes. But just the six-way switch, I think, sets us apart because there’s just more fun to be had,” he said.
McG shared with PEOPLE that the holiday movie also has a valuable lesson for all audiences.

“You can listen and not take it to heart, but to understand … you have to consider and think, and go beyond what you’ve heard. Once you understand where the person you’re talking to is coming from – it’s your mom, your child , a dog or a baby — then maybe you can hope to be understood,” McG said. “Everything will be a little better in the end.”
As for whether Garner would ever want to take part in a real-life body-swapping experience, she previously told PEOPLE that she has no interest in reliving her younger years.
“I think my kids work so hard and have so much pressure on them that I never could have imagined as a teenager. I’m going to stay here in my old lady body, thank you very much,” Garner said.
When asked if she would ever trade places with her children — Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11, who she shares with ex-husband Ben Affleck — she told PEOPLE that she’d rather “trade places with Ed’s kids.”

“I want to be the little one with the crazy look in her eye running around in diapers. Break out the paint and glitter and go around the house,” she joked.
