Jennifer Garner Has Reunion with ‘Alias’ Costar Victor Garber at Off-Broadway Play: ‘My Person’

Jennifer Garner loves her colleague very much Alias Victor Garber.

The 13 Continues 30 star, 51, shared on Instagram on Sunday that she hit the theater to see her close friend and former TV dad perform in an Off-Broadway play Love letters.

“If you’re my person and you’re on stage I’ll do anything I can to see you. ♥️ @therealvictorgarber is my person,” she captioned a photo with Garber at the Irish Repertory Theater in New York.

“And on stage with the amazing [J. Smith Cameron] =⭐️♥️👏,” Garner added, exclaiming Succession actress, who starred alongside Garber in AR Gurney’s drama about two friends who exchange letters throughout their lives.

Garber, 74, posted the same photo of the pair on his Instagram page on Sunday, adding the caption: “Surprise visit to the Irish Rep Theater last night.”

He added, “Today is the last performance for me and J. Smith Cameron. Thank you to the Irish representative for this wonderful opportunity. XX” (Brooke Shields and John Slattery are scheduled to perform this Wednesday through Sunday on the show, which featured a rotating list of stars. )

Garner jumped into the comments of Garber’s post to praise the actor and give a knowing wink to fans of her 2001-2006 ABC drama CIA.

“I wouldn’t miss seeing you on stage, my spy daddy,” she wrote. “I love you @therealvictorgarber. You and J. Smith were a *chef kiss ♥️”

“Josh kept coming and sneaking up and kind of whispering in my ear, ‘You’re Hannah. Stop smiling at him. You look like Jennifer. I’ve never seen you break character more than the way you are with Victor,'” she recalled. are. “I was just grinning from ear to ear. I was so happy he was there.”

Garner said EW that she and the rest of the limited series team were determined to bring Garber into the project. “It was definitely intentional,” she explained. “I mean, Victor is still very much like my dad, I talk to him every Sunday. And I don’t think you could convince him he’s not my real father if you tried.”
