Jennifer Garner Picks Dates Off a Palm Tree (in a Giant Crane!) for Her Food Line — Watch

Jennifer Garner is taking her involvement in her food line to new heights—literally.

Tuesday, Yes day the actress shared clips of herself using a crane to pick dates from huge palm trees. The co-founder and brand ambassador of the organic food line Once Upon a Farm traveled to California’s Coachella Valley to visit some of the company’s suppliers.

Videos and photos show the mother of three, 51, climbing up the trunk of a date palm tree and shaking the ripe fruit from the branches. Dressed appropriately in denim overalls, a brimmed hat and athletic trainers, Garner was ready to harvest.

Did you know that dates are an excellent source of fiber? And did you know that dates have more potassium than bananas? And they have a lot of copper. 40% of your daily copper intake,” Garner said.

“I didn’t know you needed copper, but you do. And here it is. Here, you better drink some copper,” she added, tossing the date to the cameraman.

Garner also posed for a photo (while wearing a matching hat) with some of the farmers who work for the supplier, Woodspur Farms.

“I love meeting @onceuponafarm suppliers—and I’ll pick dates for our products anytime! 🌴👩🏻‍🌾☀️ I ♥️ farmers!” said the mom to son Samuel, who turns 12 next month, as well as Seraphina Rose, 15, and Violet Anne, 18.

Once Upon a Farm announced new A2/A2 full fat milk drinks on Tuesday. Drinks are the first dairy product of the food line. They come in three flavors: strawberry cream, triple berry and banana cream.

In February, Once Upon a Farm will also release a Whole Milk Smoothie in three flavors: banana berry blast, mango pear-adise and orange squeeze.
