Jennifer Lopez Channeled Kim Possible with Her Latest Outfit Formula — and We Found Her $59 Boat Neck Top

What is the problem?

Oh, only Jennifer Lopez comes to my rescue with the characteristic Kim Possible ‘fit, it’s a great last-minute Halloween costume, but an even better look for post-holiday weekdays. The Fraudsters the actress wore a $59 black turtleneck top, which is now sold out, from Intimissimi, a brand she previously worked with. It’s also the same top Hailey Bieber wore under a leopard coat during a recent outing with her husband, Justin Bieber.

Lopez made the look more 2024-appropriate with green — beige — er, gray — baggy bottoms that didn’t taper down into a stretchy running situation (but she actually gathers around them, too). She also carried a larger handbag that looked like it could be from Hermès, instead of the crossbody styles she’s been carrying on her arm recently.

The brand previously sent me J.Lo’s top to try on, and it’s razor thin, which has its pros and cons. It’s very useful for sweat-free wear under t-shirts and jackets, but it’s a bit too see-through as I don’t like my bra showing. (You can throw on a tank top underneath for extra coverage.)

But I will give a big thumbs up to the boat neck shirts. The neckline is so flattering – I’ve yet to see someone who hasn’t pulled it off – and it looks so elegant even Meghan Markle opted for the style for her wedding to Prince Harry in 2018.

All that being said, I’m very interested in this $16 Amazon Essentials pick that doesn’t have full sleeves, so it’ll also be hidden for layering. Or I could pick up this Spanx top, which is part of a collection that Oprah once raved about.

Baggy straight and traditional wide leg pants will always hit the mark – as long as they don’t hold you back. Fortunately, these pants are “non-sagging” and, bonus, “the fabric [doesn’t] almost no wrinkling at all,” one customer wrote. They are available in sizes XXS to XXL, which fit US sizes 0-26 and run true to size, according to the brand.

Safe to say I can’t afford a Birkin – this Kate Spade bag is a little more reasonable. It comes in black and three other earth tones to match the color of the leaves that fall this time of year. The two handles evoke the look of the Lopez bag, but the extra shoulder strap is convenient for the upcoming holiday trip.
