Jennifer Lopez Drops ‘Can’t Get Enough’ and Says Ben Affleck Helped with Video of Revolving Grooms: ‘He Gets Me’

Jennifer Lopez is back with new music — and we can’t get enough of it!

On Wednesday, the singer and actress released the song “Can’t Get Enough” with an accompanying music video.

Lopez, 54, spoke to fans about the song and how its release came about in a YouTube live stream before the video premiered. “I love a love song, but I need something – and I kept telling them this – that I can perform,” she said on “Can’t Get Enough.”

“So when we first heard this song, everyone just knew it was the one to launch This is me… now“, added the star. “There is energy, there is happiness and you feel it all.”

As for creating the music video for the single, Lopez said she went to her husband Ben Affleck for advice. “It’s not like he’s ever made videos or anything, but I just trust his opinion and his ideas,” she explained. “No one knows my story or me more than him. I really feel like he gets me and understands me, obviously.”

“Can’t Get Enough” is the first release from her upcoming ninth studio album This is me… nowwhich is scheduled for release on February 16. Fans can store the album here.

“You’ve all been following my journey and I think you’ve seen me,” Lopez told fans during a live stream on YouTube. “What I wanted to tell everyone with the album… is that true love actually exists.”

This is me… now: a love story will release the same day on Prime Video. The film, directed by Dave Meyers, will serve as a “musical and visual reimagining of her publicly scrutinized love life,” according to a statement that promises to be “narrative, intimate, reflective, sexy, funny, fantastical and highly entertaining.” The film was also written by Affleck (51), as well as Matt Walton.

On Monday, the “Jenny from the Block” singer released a music video teaser on social media.

The clip, shared on Instagram, shows her wearing a skin-baring white dress as she “marries” a string of grooms in a wedding-themed story. Her daring mermaid-style dress features a curve-hugging silhouette and two large sweetheart necklines that reveal her abs and upper thighs.

“I just wanna, I just feel like…” Lopez sings in the video as she dances with her groom’s parade, celebrates at the reception and drives her away in various scenes.

She captioned the post: “I can’t wait Can’t Get Enough in 2️⃣ days!!! #THISISMENOW. The wait is almost over…”

In another sneak peek of the music video released Saturday, Lopez wears a short, strapless dress adorned with a cluster of red roses at the waist. She spins around the dance floor with her groomsmen, one of whom is Dancing with the stars for Derek Hough.

In an interview with Diversity on the red carpet, Lopez opened up about the wedding-themed music video for “Can’t Get Enough” and what inspired the creative concept behind it.

“I think it might surprise some people. It’s definitely kind of a meta story about the journey it takes to get back from heartbreak to love,” she explained, joking that she’s an “expert” on weddings.

“I’m somewhat of an expert, you could say, in a weird way. Not so much in marriage, but in weddings,” she told the newspaper.
