Jennifer, 55, filed for divorce from Ben, 51, after months of divorce speculation, TMZ reported Tuesday.
JLo filed legal documents Tuesday in Los Angeles County Superior Court pro per — meaning without an attorney.
The Atlas actress stated April 26, 2024 as the date of separation.
Ironically, the filing date, August 20, is the second anniversary of the former couple’s traditional wedding in Georgia.

In the documents, Jennifer did not mention whether or not the couple had a prenuptial agreement, but insiders told TMZ that the couple did not.
This means that any earnings or profits that Jen and Ben have made during their nearly two-year marriage are community property.
In 2020, Forbes listed Jennifer’s net worth at $150 million.
As of August 1, Celebrity Net Worth has Ben’s net worth equaling Jennifer’s at roughly $150 million.
According to legal documents, Jennifer waived spousal support and asked the judge to deny Ben spousal support as well.
Before Jennifer filed for divorce, the couple were hardly seen together in public, with one of their last outings being in June 2024.

Last month, Ben bought a $20.5 million home in Brentwood, California, after moving out of the ex-couple’s Beverly Hills estate last spring.
At the end of July, the exes listed a mansion in Beverly Hills for $68 million.

Last month, the Daily Mail reported that the couple’s divorce had been finalized for weeks.
“They finalized the divorce papers with her a month ago, but are waiting for the right time to drop them,” a source told the new paper.

A source claimed to InTouch that Jen and Ben were dealing with major marital issues and would go weeks without hanging out.
“It’s over; they headed for divorce, once [Ben’s] don’t hold a grudge. Now she is focusing on her work and children,” the source claims.
“They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”
