Jennifer Lopez Got Hair Touch-Ups in the Middle of 2024 Golden Globes Red Carpet: See the Unscripted Moment

Jennifer Lopez’s glam squad is never far away.

On Sunday afternoon, the 54-year-old singer and actress walked the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards with husband Ben Affleck (whose film Air took the bow) and stole the show – with a little help from her hairstylist, Chris Appleton.

Between snaps, Lopez and Appleton, 40, stopped to give the “On the Floor” singer’s hair a quick touch, a video shared by reporter Kirbie Johnson on Instagram Stories.

In the clip, a stylist can be seen adjusting the actress’ front locks, styled into perfect waves to achieve a glamorous look inspired by old Hollywood.

Appleton, who also works with stars such as Kim Kardashian and Dua Lipa, shared more details about Lopez’s hairstyle in a preview of the look on his own Instagram.

First, he prepared the singer’s hair with a volumizing agent, which he spread through her hair with a detangling brush. He then blow dried her hair, curled it and used a texturizing spray before brushing and teasing the curls for added volume.

The stylist completed the tousled look by taming the frizzy hair with a special hair extension and setting the waves with hairspray.

Along with a daring ‘do, Lopez rocked a neutral, shimmery glam and baby pink dress with show-stopping floral detailing. Affleck, 51, let his wife shine in a simple black tuxedo.

The Marry me star looked radiant in a custom strapless Nicole + Felicia mermaid gown, which featured a matching cape and exaggerated floral sleeves.

She paired the look with sparkling Boucheron jewels, a sparkling Judith Leiber clutch and Christian Louboutin heels.

J. Lo may not have been nominated for the Globes, but she still had people adoring her. At Sunday’s awards show, Brie Larson found herself a star after coming face-to-face with Lopez.

During the viral red carpet talk with Party tonightLarson, 34, choked up after she noticed Lopez standing right behind her — and heading straight for her.

“Oh my God. I’m going to cry. I can’t handle J.Lo,” Larson said, closing her eyes. The Chemistry Lesson star then introduced himself to Lopez, telling her, “You mean so much to me.”

After the hug, J.Lo revealed that she’s a “huge fan” of Larson, and the Marvel star shot back, adding, “I saw Selena and that made me want to be an actor. And you have always meant so much to me.”

“Oh my God, don’t make me cry,” Lopez replied.
