Jennifer Lopez has addressed social media content about unhealthy relationships as rumors of trouble in her marriage to Ben Affleck continue to swirl.
On Thursday, May 16, relationship coach Lenna Marsak shared on her Instagram Stories that Lopez, 54, “liked” a March 19 post from her account that listed the personality traits that some people bring to relationships that the account positioned as unhealthy for romance.
“Just logged in to IG and noticed @jlo liked my post,” wrote Marsak, who posts on Instagram under the name @yourcourageouscomeback. Marsak shared a screenshot of the notification showing that Lopez’s official account had liked her post. “Jlo or her PR team, I’ll take it,” she added.
Marsak later shared a video on May 17, asking followers to be careful with Lopez as she and Affleck, 51, face fresh speculation about their relationship. “Please be nice to Jennifer Lopez because she’s a human being. I don’t know if she’s going to get a divorce,” she said. “I hope not, but yes, please.”
The post states that people “cannot build a healthy relationship with someone who lacks integrity and emotional security,” doesn’t respect other people’s time, “lacks effective communication skills” and “doesn’t know who they are or what they want.”

Lopez’s Instagram activity comes as reports of tension between her and Affleck continue to mount. The Air the director and singer were last photographed together holding hands in New York on March 30.
Lopez spent a lot of time in New York in April and early May promoting the Netflix movie Satin, filming an upcoming movie Kiss of the spider woman, and attending the 2024 Met Gala, where Affleck was absent.
Affleck, meanwhile, was filming the sequel to his 2016 film Accountant on the west coast. He recently made a solo appearance on Netflix’s live Roast of Tom Brady show on May 5.

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck relationship timeline
Lopez and Affleck famously dated from 2002 to 2004 and rekindled their romance years later in 2021. In July 2022, the couple eloped to Las Vegas and later held a star-studded wedding at Affleck’s compound outside of Savannah, Georgia.
While the couple has no children, Lopez shares her 16-year-old twins Max and Emma with ex-husband Marc Anthony, and Affleck shares three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.

The pair collaborated on Lopez’s recent music video This is me now…: a love story and accompanying documentary film The greatest love story never told. Although Lopez said at a screening of the film in February that Affleck was “kind of a reluctant participant, a silent participant and everything” in the film, she also noted that the Oscar-winning director offered his expertise to the project.
“It wasn’t my idea to photograph every moment I was doing this,” she said at the time. “To be honest, when we started shooting the movie, it got more and more bizarre and my husband, who had a front seat to the whole thing, was the one who said, ‘We should shoot this,’ and he brought in this amazing crew and so somehow happened.”
