Jennifer Lopez's Italy Vacation Itinerary: Where the Star Stayed, Ate and Explored on the Amalfi Coast

Jennifer Lopez filled her solo vacation in Italy with delicious snacks, dreamy vistas and enviable, luxurious accommodations.

Before going to Paris on Saturday for fashion week, the Satin star, 54, enjoyed a getaway around Italy’s Amalfi Coast. The trip included days spent lounging on boats off the coast of Positano and Sorrento with friends, enjoying dinner in town and shopping in the picturesque villages of the popular summer destination.

She even chose a stunning base to stay in, the former villa of a famous Italian director.

Ben Affleck did not join her on vacation due to what sources described as strain in their marriage. The actor instead stayed in LA where he recently finished filming Accountant 2.

ACCOMMODATION: Villa TreVille, Positano

This stunning five-star hotel, whose rooms regularly go for up to $2,000 a night, was once the private estate of famed Italian director Franco Zeffirelli and was Lopez’s choice of accommodation for her stay on the Amalfi Coast.

“It is one of the most luxurious facilities in the world, but at the same time very quiet and private,” said a local resident and editor. News from Positano, Michele Cinque, tells PEOPLE about a property with apartments and a view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. He adds that Lopez’s stay was “essentially a quiet vacation” involving walks in nearby towns and boat rides between them.

“She seemed very happy, really at peace to be where she was,” he adds.

EAT: Restaurant La Gavitella, Praiano

The singer and actress visited La Gavitella, a restaurant and beach club overlooking Positano and Capri. She arrived at the restaurant by boat with two friends late in the afternoon, a source tells PEOPLE.

The founder of Delola ordered the “chef’s specialty”, lobster linguine, with ginger beer. “She was relaxed. She ordered, talked and laughed with her friends,” says the source.

SHOP: Antica Sartoria, Sorrento

The star shopped for clothes at this local spot, whose name means “antique cut” in Italian, and “bought a traditional local costume,” the employee said.

After the purchase, the retailer renamed the dress in her honor, calling it “Jennifer Lopez.” “It’s already becoming a summer trend,” said the employee. “People ask for it all the time.”

Lopez didn’t just shop at the store, she also busted a move or two. “When she heard the music of Geolier [an Italian rapper] tricked, she started dancing,” said the employee. “You could tell she was happy because she was all smiles.”

EAT: Restaurant Lo Scoglio, Nerano

Lopez was spotted dining at this Amalfi Coast establishment, which sits on a rocky hill overlooking Marina del Cantone and serves fresh local seafood, such as octopus and stewed clams, as well as traditional appetizers. In the photos he posted daily mail, she was seen sitting at an outdoor table with a friend.

The This is me . . . Now the star is not the only celebrity who stopped by the restaurant. David Beckham, Oprah and Rihanna reportedly count it among their favorites in the region.

Lopez also visited earlier. She dined with Affleck at a restaurant in 2021, when the pair were spotted cuddling with the singer on her then-boyfriend’s lap and showing PDA.

It’s not an Amalfi Coast vacation without some time at sea, and Lopez enjoyed at least two days on board during her trip. She was seen boarding a speedboat with friends in Sorrento on June 18, wearing a cream bandeau top, shorts paired with multicolored pants, and gold open-toe heels.

On a separate trip to Positano, the star was filmed navigating a rocky path by the sea to board a dinghy that took her to a larger vessel, where she and her companions lounged in the sun, snapped photos and sipped champagne.

EAT: Ristorante Da Vincenzo, Positano

Lopez sampled the local cuisine at this family-run restaurant that specializes in fish and pasta dishes. She’s seen sitting outside on the patio for an evening meal in photos published by TMZ, but there’s also a cave-like interior dining room framed by natural stone.

The Amalfi Coast is famous for its world-class beach clubs, frequented by celebrities. The singer enjoyed a day by the coast in this luxury offering, which is said to be the only one with direct access to a private beach. Guests can take the elevator down to the beach from the hotel lobby. There, in addition to sun and sand, you will find a solarium and a bar. It is usually only available to hotel guests.
