Jenny McCarthy Says 1 Masked Singer Contestant Has 'the Most Beautiful Voice' on Season 12's Footloose Night

Everyone got rid of the October 2nd episode Masked singeron which the contestants belted the ribbons with Free in honor of the film’s 40th anniversary.

Robin Thicke opened the performance with a cover of Kenny Loggins’ “Footloose” before joining the judges alongside Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy and Rita Ora.

Showbird was the first to fly onto the stage. In her clue package, Showbird revealed that “work became my whole life – I was married to it.” But “I recently reconnected with an old bird friend who unexpectedly became my love bird,” she said.

The showbird shared that she gave up singing two decades ago, and her gift package also included a purple cookie and rings.

She sang “Let’s Hear It for the Boy” by Deniece Williams, and after that she won Free-extra clue: Kevin Bacon’s music box from the movie — this one was playing hip-hop beats.

“It’s more my vibe now because I’m in ’94. was part of the hip-hop empire,” Showbird explained.

The panel thought Showbird might be Joeng’s Community actresses Yvette Nicole Brown, Taraji P. Henson or Sheila E.

Bacon, 66, sent the show a video message. “It’s so cool, and I was so honored to be in the movie 40 years ago,” he said before reciting the lyrics to “Footloose.”

The ship boarded next. “In high school, I was the star cheerleader, class president and I was even voted prom queen,” Ship explained in her boot and heart-showing trail package. “So when I injured my foot and the doctor said I had to sit on the sidelines for the whole year, my frustration led me to the family piano, where I sat and played for hours.

Ship said, “Music became my heaven” and “has been a great resource ever since.”

Ship tackled Mike Reno and Ann Wilson’s “Almost Paradise,” which led McCarthy, 51, to consider Ship the frontrunner. “You have the most beautiful voice, I believe, na Masked singer season 12 so far,” she said.

Jeong, 55, interjected, “We all overdid the boat tonight.”

For ships Free track, the ship discussed her degrees of separation from Bacon, which went through Melissa Etheridge and Whoopi Goldberg.

“I’m three degrees away from Kevin Bacon,” Shop declared. “I’m related to Melissa Etheridge, who is related to Whoopi Goldberg, who acted Destination anywhere with Kevin Bacon.”

Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Amy Grant and Sarah McLachlan emerged as possibilities for Ship.

The woodpecker continued with a heroic performance. “As a little girl, while most kids were playing in treehouses, I was putting down roots in Hollywood,” Djetlić said in the gift package, which additionally included a director’s chair, a rubber duck and a small briefcase.

Woodpecker mentioned “growing pains” and said that “everyone was in my business” as I grew up in the spotlight.

Woodpecker tackled Bonnie Tyler’s “Holding Out for a Hero”, after which Woodpecker scored Bacon’s Shoes from Free as an additional clue.

“Another bird from Masked singer my family—and mine, too—shares my style obsession with shoes,” Woodpecker said.

The judges suggested that the woodpecker could be Regina King, Willow Smith or Letitia Wright.

The Buffaloes closed out the play. “Just like those kids in there Free yearning to dance, we’re rebels each in our own way who somehow found ourselves along the trail,” said one Buffalo in their clue pack.

Another Buffalo said the trio “made it by not caring what people thought.”

“Who cares, we are rich!” said the third Buffalo.

A game of poker and poison also appeared in the clue pack.

The Buffaloes fired up the crowd with their Foreigner “Waiting for a Girl Like You”.

“A great performance, a way to get into the crowd and get goosebumps,” Thicke, 47, said.

Mo-town came out in the trailer as an additional Buffaloes track. “We’re a little tired right now because we’re busy using this tractor to mow the lawn all around,” said one of the Buffaloes.

Bell Biv DeVoe, Big Time Rush, Boyz II Men and 112 emerged as possibilities for the Buffaloes’ identity.

“Everybody’s really close up there,” host Nick Cannon said.

After the judges and studio audience voted for their favorite performance of the night, Cannon, 43, revealed that Showbird had received the fewest votes and would be unmasked. When Showbird popped out of his feathered head, Jeong’s guess about his costar Brown came up.
