Jeremy Renner celebrates life.
The actor, 53, marked one year since he was released from intensive care following a near-fatal snowplow accident on January 1, 2023, with a touching promise to his fans.
“I am reminded that love, goodwill, hard work and a legion of good people help me every day… thank you, bless you…. And as always, I keep my promise to be better, to be stronger and to grow beyond my potential… . Bless you all ❤️🙏🏼❤️,” Renner wrote on Instagram.

The social media post included a photo of Renner in workout clothes smiling while carrying a water bottle and bag. He shared the same picture on his Instagram Story, expressing that he was a “happy man” and was reminded of the milestone by a friend.
Many of his followers thanked him for being a source of inspiration, including Anil Kapoor, who wrote: “🔥🔥🔥 you look amazing 🙌🙌🙌 you inspired the world Jeremy ❤️.”
After breaking more than 30 bones and undergoing multiple surgeries, gratitude was an emotion Renner expressed on his road to recovery.
While making his first public appearance since the accident at the red carpet premiere of his Disney+ series Renervations in April, he told PEOPLE that his gratitude is unmatched.

“I am full of gratitude and excitement unlike [anything] It felt really, really long, you know? Because it’s not a movie that I’m promoting, it’s not a show, it’s mine, it’s my life, man, this is what I do,” he said while attending the event with his daughter Ava Berlin Renner.
Hurt Locker the actor marked his birthday on Sunday with a sweet Instagram photo of a 10-year-old giving him a cake. In a thoughtful New Year’s post, he cited her as the “number one reason” for his strength during his recovery.
He told his fans about his many milestones, including getting back in the driver’s seat of his snowplow and regaining his physical strength.
