Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald Share Ultrasound Photos of Baby No. 5, a ‘Rainbow Baby’ Who Is ‘So, So Loved’

Jessa (Duggar) Seewald is giving fans an update on her soon-to-be fifth bundle of joy!

Former Count on star, 30, and her husband, Ben Seewald, shared their ultrasound photos from her most recent doctor’s appointment in an Instagram post on Monday.

“Every heartbeat heard, every ultrasound seen, every meeting with a good result… the worries disappear a little more,” she wrote alongside the photo. “God has blessed us beyond measure and YOU ARE SO SO LOVED, my little one. #rainbowbaby🌈.”

Jess’ sister, Jill (Duggar) Dillard, congratulated the couple in the comments.

“Aww!! ❤️ Good luck to you all!” she wrote.

Last month, the expectant parents announced on social media that they were expecting their fifth child, after she tragically suffered a miscarriage last year.

“After a terrible loss last year, we are so thankful to God for blessing us with a rainbow baby,” Jessa wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. The post also included a link to a video on her YouTube channel titled “A Baby on the Way & Romantic Getaway!”

Jessa Duggar reveals she had a miscarriage: ‘I immediately started crying’

The video — which showed a positive pregnancy test sitting on the bathroom counter — began with the star-to-be once again acknowledging the “heartbreaking loss” the family had endured the previous year, before telling her fans of her happy news.

“We just found out some wonderful news last week that our rainbow baby is on the way and we couldn’t be more excited,” the reality star said. As she spoke in the video, the words “God is so kind” and “We are so grateful for the gift of this precious life” appeared on the screen.

The news comes just over two years after Jessa gave birth to their fourth child, daughter Fern, in July 2021 — five months after suffering another pregnancy loss.
