Jessel Taank's Husband Pavit Dresses as Dory from Finding Nemo After Sai De Silva's RHONY Diss

Jessel Taanko’s husband has a sense of humor.

Pavit Randhawa, who is married to The Real Housewives of New York star eight years, they surprised the viewers Watch what’s happening live on Halloween when he entered a costume contest.

Fittingly, his outfit was an ode to a hit from one of his wife’s costars.

“He just keeps swimming to Vietnam, it’s our friend Pavit as a cartoon fish that Sai thinks he looks like,” host Andy Cohen, 56, said as he introduced Randhawa, who was dressed as Dory from Search None.

The suit harkens back to a text message Sai De Silva sent actress Brynn Whitfield about how she thought Randhawa might be “similar” to the famous chick.

Cohen asked Randhawa for his reaction to De Silva’s comment, and he replied, “My kids love him so you know what, take it,” referring to the twins Kai and Rio, who he shares with Taanka.

“You have the best sense of humor to come dressed in this outfit,” Cohen said, applauding Randhawa for his bold move.

On the 15th season premiere RHONYWhitfield, 36, revealed what De Silva had said and the comment caused a social media storm, prompting videos of both De Silva and Randhawa documented by fan account Queens of Bravo.

In a video on social media after the episode, De Silva gave “context” to the text message Whitfield shared on air. “First of all, I was mad as hell, and when I’m mad I have a terrible mouth, it could be very deadly,” De Silva said.

“I had a fight with Jessel last year. This message was last year. We all know that since then me and Jessel have made up and moved on. I sent this message to Jessel in the group chat so everyone saw it, including Jessel, it didn’t Not as if I was talking behind her back, I was talking to her face,” she concluded. “Meanwhile, I apologized and me and Jessel are in a really good place. Randhawa used De Silva’s research to promote his favorite New York City fish dishes in his own Instagram video after the episode.

This season, Randhawa and Taank, 41, are not spending their time focusing on commentary. A big part of their story involves whether or not they will expand their family. Last month, Taank told PEOPLE she was nervous about being pregnant again.

“I think it’s really not an easy conversation because I have to go through the steps of IVF to conceive,” she said, referring to the in vitro fertilization process that she and Randhawa welcomed their twins to.

“I wish it was easier for me, but it’s not. And so some conversations about another child simply come with a lot [effort] because I just can’t get drunk and high naturally,” she continued.

“As much as I wish I could because it would make this so much easier, you’ll see us navigating what that journey looks like and what that path looks like.”
