Jessica Capshaw’s daughter is officially a member of The Tortured Poets Department.
The Grey’s Anatomy alum, 47, posed with her daughter Josephine, 8, and Taylor Swift, 34, in a photo shared on Capshaw’s Instagram on Wednesday, May 15. Wearing a night sky-themed mini dress, Capshaw had her arm around Swift, who placed a hand on Josephine’s shoulder.
The three appeared to pose together backstage at Swift’s Paris Eras Tour concert in the sweet picture, with Josephine wearing a Taylor Swift tee and sparkly cowboy boots. Capshaw also included photos of herself and Josephine as they visited various sites for a tour of Paris, seeing the City of Love.
“Because we were in Paris.. 💕,” Capshaw wrote in the caption.

Jessica Capshaw says there’s no balance in being a working mum: ‘You have to give up certain things’
Capshaw is mother to son Luke, 16, and daughters Eva, 13, Josephine and Poppy, 11, who she shares with husband Christopher Gavigan.
In March, Capshaw’s daughter Eve joined grandfather Stephen Spielberg at the 2024 Academy Awards, posing with Spielberg on the red carpet. Eve wore a strapless baby blue dress and stood next to Spielberg, who opted for a suit and bow tie.
The two posed for a few photos together before making their way down the red carpet and into the ballroom.
In April 2017, Capshaw spoke to PEOPLE about balancing motherhood and her career, admitting that it has been difficult.

“Listen, when it’s hard, it’s really hard,” she said at the time. “And I’ve always said this: There’s no balance in being a mom who works outside the home. It’s probably not even the balance of being a stay-at-home mom. You have to give up some things to get others.”
She continued: “So sometimes I work really, really hard, and a lot. I always keep my children well informed. This is going to be a tough week. But next week will be great.”
However, Capshaw said keeping her children informed is a key part of her parenting.
“The one thing that is really difficult for children, I think, is not being aware,” she explained. “So as long as they know and know what to expect, they are very well equipped. Because they are very resilient.”
