This summer has been all about meal deals, and Jimmy John’s is joining them.
The sandwich chain has a $10 Total Package Meal, a discounted meal package that’s supposed to be “as hearty as your appetite,” according to a press release.
The Jimmy John’s package is not only generous but also customizable. Customers can choose an 8-inch sandwich from seven options such as roast beef, BLT and tuna salad sandwiches. Plus, the deal includes a bag of chips, a dessert — like a chocolate chip cookie or brownie — and a standard-sized drink.
The meal combo is available starting August 5th and will be available for a limited time.
The deal appears to overshadow other meal deals introduced recently. “Let’s face it, the value meals out there aren’t nearly enough food for someone looking for a hearty meal. At Jimmy John’s, they know size matters,” the statement added.
On June 20, McDonald’s introduced a $5 meal deal that includes a McDouble or McChicken sandwich with small fries, four chicken McNuggets and a soft drink. On June 27th, Taco Bell released the new Luxe Cravings Box.

The Taco Bell box includes a Chalupa Supreme, Beefy 5-Layer Burrito, Double Stacked Taco, chips with cheese dip and a medium drink for $7. The package offer is a 55% discount compared to buying the products separately, according to the press release. These are “full size menu items” in the Luxe Cravings Box.

Wendy’s also briefly introduced an upgraded Biggie Bag on June 20. The Biggie Bag usually includes Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger or Crispy Chicken Sandwich, four-piece nuggets, Jr. Hot & Crispy fries and a small soft drink, but customers can also score a free Frosty in the deal before the Frosty add-on ended on June 30.

Luckily, Wendy’s now has a new deal with Frosty, and this one will last for a while. From August 5th through September 15th, shoppers can grab a small triple berry chocolate or chocolate Frosty for just $1. Best of all, there’s no limit to the number of discounted frozen treats.
