Ramesh Choudary, better known by his stage name Jithan Ramesh, is an Indian film actor and producer who predominantly appears in Telugu and Tamil films. He came to the limelight after playing the role of “Surya” in the Tamil film Jithan (2005).

Jithan Ramesh was born on Saturday, October 23, 1982 (38 years old in 2020) in Chennai. His zodiac sign is Libra. He graduated from Gill Adarsh High School in Chennai and then joined DG Vaishnav College in Chennai to pursue his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). Ramesh’s father was a filmmaker, so he developed a keen interest in acting and directing at an early age.

Profession
Jithan Ramesh started his acting career in the Telugu film Vidyardhi (2004) as “Kranthi”. He then made his Tamil film debut as “Surya” in the film Jithan (2005).

He subsequently acted in Tamil films such as Jerry (2006), Madurai Veeran (2007), Puli Varudhu (2007), Osthe (2011) and Pillayar Theru Kadaisi Veedu (2011).

In 2014, he made his Malayalam film debut with the film Day and Night Game, playing a police inspector. In the same year, he made his Tamil film debut with the film Jira. Jitan was a contestant on the sports reality show Lebara Natchathira Cricket League (2016). He was part of the team “Salem Cheetahs” (SC) in the show.
