Joe Jonas reflects on his final years at his Miami home.
The New Jersey native moved to Miami about seven years ago. On Friday, Dec. 6, at an Art Basel/Miami Art Week event called The Wellness Oasis at 1 Hotel South Beach, he revealed that he “fell in love” with the Florida city.
“Honestly, it’s grounding,” he said. “Sometimes there’s an eye roll from people like, ‘You live in Miami? Is it just clubs everywhere.’ And I say, ‘Yes, there are clubs everywhere, but you can also go to the beach and relax and watch the sunset.’ ”
The 35-year-old musician went on to remark that he finds the beach town “really beautiful,” adding that there’s “just a slower pace of life,” which is something he finds “important” to have.
