John Abraham was born on December 17, 1972 in Cochin, Kerala, India (age 47 in 2018). His maternal line named him Farhan Irani, but he went by the name John Abraham, which was the opposite of his father’s name, Abraham John. He was educated at Bombay Scots School, Mumbai, and attended Jai Hind College, University of Mumbai, where he pursued a bachelor’s degree in economics. Thereafter, he received his MBA from Bombay Educational Trust. John has been an active athlete since childhood, competing in 100m and 200m events. He even represented his school in the 100 meters at the district level. In his early teens, he aspired to become an architect, like his father and brothers.

John began his modeling career playing a criminal investigator on Jazzy B’s album “Surma”. He subsequently worked as a media planner and production manager at Time & Space Media Entertainment Promotions Ltd and Enterprises Nexus.
Abraham participated in the Gradras Supermodel competition and emerged as runner-up. Later, he also won the International Manhunt Championship.
