John Travolta and Daughter Ella Share Birthday Tributes to Late Kelly Preston: ‘You Inspire Me Every Day’

John Travolta and daughter Ella Bleu Travolta pay tribute to Kelly Preston on her 61st birthday.

On Friday, the 69-year-old actor shared an adorable photo of his late wife as she posed for a photo shoot, captioning it: “Happy Birthday Kelly! We love you!”

Celebrity comments poured in to celebrate Preston, including fellow actress Sharon Stone, who left four heart emojis.

“Absolutely!!!!! ❤️,” Joey Lawrence added, while Sammy Hagar noted that Preston was a Libra “all the way ❤️.”

As well as adding a string of heart emojis in the comments on her dad’s post, Ella, 23, posted an adorable memory of herself as a toddler, with one arm around her mum on what appeared to be Preston’s birthday earlier.

“Happy birthday mom, you inspire me every day❤️❤️❤️,” Ella wrote.

Commenting on Ella’s post, producer Kimberly Heath-Carrico shared a touching story about the “down-to-earth” Preston, writing: “One year when we were doing a photo shoot for the Sunscreen Film Festival in St. Petersburg, the photographer’s lens cap fell off and your mom ran after grabbing it and handing it to the man.”

In another comment, Heath-Carrico said that, at another film festival, Preston “told everyone she had to leave early because it’s your birthday! How precious even at a time when she could have put her career above everything else she chose family she chose you !!! She loved you very much!!!”

“She was so genuine to everyone she met,” Heath-Carrico added. “She also taught me how to paint…she was a dear, dear, precious person. May you embody her for the rest of your life! She was like a butterfly. Her beauty showed, and she gently touched everything in a way that was ethereal.”

Preston, who married Travolta in 1991, died of breast cancer in 2020 at the age of 57.

Last month, Fat the actor celebrated their anniversary, sharing a video of Ella elegantly strolling in a gorgeous floral dress while “The Shadow of Your Smile” played over the footage.

“Our baby girl Ella celebrating Kelly’s and my wedding anniversary,” Travolta wrote in the Instagram caption. “I’m so proud of you!! I know mom would be too!”

“I love you both so much❤️,” Ella wrote in the comment.

Like Ella, Travolta and Preston shared a late son, Jett, who was born in 1992, and a son, Benjamin, 12.
