JoJo Siwa knows how to appreciate the new Dance moms show, but still there were moments with which she was not completely satisfied.

While speaking at Rhode Island Comic Con’s JoJo Siwa Live panel on Nov. 1, moderated by PEOPLE’s Dory Jackson, the 21-year-old “Karma” singer weighed in on Hulu Dance Moms: A New Era reboot and the problems she encountered while watching the show.

“I appreciate it Dance Moms: A New Erathey gave credit to the original Dance Moms and they nodded to Abby [Lee Miller],” she began, adding that new dance coach Glo Hampton acknowledged that Miller, 59, created the show’s “pyramid” format. “I appreciate that they didn’t play dumb, actually thinking Dance Moms it was not a thing before them.”

While Siwa has had good and bad experiences as a child dancer on the original Lifetime show, the singer has spoken at length about her love for the show and Miller.

“This is crazy, but if Abby would yell at me, I’d be like, ‘she’s yelling at me!'” she told fans at the panel. “It’s like when you have something that’s not good for you, but you like it anyway.”

“It’s like a guilty pleasure,” she explained. “I was so honored that this woman that I’ve cherished for so long yelled at me. That’s a psycho. It’s so crazy to say that.”

As for the most important lessons she learned from the notorious teacher, Siwa said Miller taught her how to “sit at the table with your feet up, a napkin on your lap, a fork on your left, and a knife and spoon on your right.”

“That girl has table manners,” she added of Miller. “I’m not kidding. I went out with a few girls and I told them you need to go to Abby Lee’s table manners school because yes, that girl will teach you table manners.”
