Jon Bon Jovi is delighted with the wedding of his son Jake Bongiovi and Millie Bobby Brown.
The rocker proudly confirmed that Bongiovi, 22, and Brown, 20, are married in a recording of his appearance on the BBC The One Show shared on X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday, May 28.
“They’re great,” Bon Jovi said. “They are absolutely fantastic. It was a very small family wedding and the bride looked beautiful and Jake is as happy as can be. It’s true.” According to SunBon Jovi’s wife, Dorothea Bongiovi, and Brown’s parents also attended the wedding.
The couple is planning a larger ceremony later this year, according to the outlet.

After the wedding, the newlyweds were seen shopping in the Hamptons. Photos of their outing on Friday, May 24, obtained by PEOPLE, show the couple looking happy and riding in a Ford convertible.
The Strangers Things star and model were seen again on Monday, May 27, dressed casually and wearing wedding bands.
It’s no surprise that details about their wedding are being kept quiet, as Brown previously revealed in an interview with 2023. WWD that she wants the details of their special day to remain a secret.

“I think it’s probably curtain raiser, just because there are only so many moments in life that you only get once. And for everybody’s opinion and eyes to look at that just seems unnatural to me,” Brown said.
She announced her engagement to Bongiovi in April 2023 with a photo of the two of them on Instagram, in which she is wearing a diamond ring on her left hand. Brown captioned the post with lyrics from Taylor Swift’s “Lover,” writing, “I’ve been loving you for three summers baby, I want them all 🤍.”

Their engagement comes nearly three years after the two went Instagram official in November 2021, posting a romantic photo taken on the London Eye.

Earlier this month, Brown celebrated Bongiovi’s 22nd birthday with a sweet post on Instagram, writing, “The day you were born is my favorite day I love you ❤️.”
