Jack Antonoff will always have Taylor Swift’s back.
The producer (39) first met Swift (34) in 2012 and they have been working together ever since. While talking to Los Angeles Times in a new interview, Antonoff praised Swift’s incredible songwriting skills and suggested that anyone who said otherwise was “toast” to him.
In January 2022, Damon Albarn said that Swift did not write the songs herself in an interview with times, which, unsurprisingly, did not sit well with Antonoff. The songwriter called it a “plant” at the time. Twitter publish.
Discussing his comebacks on social media, Antonoff said to times“Sometimes I’m a little bitch.”
“But you’re looking for my friend Taylor, you’re healthy to me,” Antonoff added, even saying that questioning Swift’s songwriting “is like challenging one’s faith in God. You just don’t go there.”

At this time Swift was also criticizing Albarn, writing further Twitter, “@DamonAlbarn I was a huge fan of yours until I saw this. I write ALL my songs.” She added: “Your hot attitude is completely fake and SO hurtful. You don’t have to like my songs, but trying to discredit my writing is really f—ing. WOW. PS I wrote this tweet myself in case you were wondering.”
Albarn has been ever since he apologizedstating that his comments were “reduced to clickbait”.
“I apologize unreservedly and unconditionally. The last thing I would want to do is discredit your songwriting. I hope you understand,” he added.
