Ruth, 64, went out to Weybridge to make an appointment at the hair salon.

The presenter opted for a casual outfit consisting of a striped white T-shirt, black pants and shiny black sneakers.

The star kept warm in a rain jacket and accessorized with a brown bag and large sunglasses.

Ruth was seen holding a Stanley cup and also kept her wedding rings.

The ITV favorite appeared in good spirits as she chatted to one of the salon’s staff before heading across the road and hopping into her car.

Ruth and Eamonn’s split was revealed in an exclusive statement to The Sun on Sunday.

Their spokesman said: “Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes have confirmed that their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing.”

Friends said the couple had grown estranged in recent months, although Ruth had recently visited him when he was in hospital.

It was then revealed that Eamonn had moved out of their Surrey mansion to a property nearby.

Some fans pointed out numerous signs that the couple had split before their announcement.

Worried fans of Eamonn Holmes note that the ‘trail’ of the split could take its toll on the TV presenter

One of the main clues was that neither of them appeared on social media for many years, nor did they appear at events together.

Ruth also seems to be hinting at problems with Eamonn’s many health issues of late.

Additionally, Eamonn’s recent picture with Linda Lusardi has fans worried.

The Northern Ireland presenter has previously hinted he wants to return to Belfast – suggesting he wants to move home.

The former couple were reportedly “separated for a year” but wanted to “keep it a secret,” friends say.

A source told MailOnline: “Ruth and her team have been telling their friends to be careful about the comments they plan to make on social media.

“It is a very sad story.

“They are both so loved by the British public that they won over so many people on This Morning, which they hosted for more than a decade.”

The couple lived completely separate lives for two years.

Eamonn and Ruth started dating when they met in 1997.

But they kept their relationship out of the spotlight until two years later.

The former couple later welcomed their only son, Jack, into the world in 2002.

Eamonn and Ruth got married in 2010.
