Michael, 42, notes that the singer is “a decent being and understands his calling on his country,” noting that it’s “powerful” that Bon Jovi recognizes it. “If I text Jon Bon Jovi, he’ll get back to me within two minutes. If I call him and he doesn’t answer, he will call me back within two minutes. Even if he can’t speak, [he’ll say] ‘Hey man, I’m doing this, but I’ll call you later.’ ”
