Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are linked “For Good”.
On Tuesday, November 12 Wicked stars spoke with SiriusXM Hits 1 LA with Tony Fly and Symon’s Symon about the highly anticipated movie musical and shared how they keep the memory of the movie “forever.”
The two revealed that they have several matching tattoos to commemorate their time on the production. When asked what they are, Grande, 31, who plays Glinda, said there are some she can share, but “some are secrets.”
Erivo, 37, who plays Elphaba, took Symon through their tattoos. “We have ‘For Good’ in the palm of our hands,” she said, referring to the musical’s emotional duet between the show’s host and the unexpected friends.

“We have our poppies,” Grande added. Poppies first appeared in the 1939 MGM film. The Wizard of Ozwhen Dorothy (Judy Garland) falls asleep in a field of poppies before meeting the Wizard, and jumps into the Wicked scenes too.
The actresses first revealed the poppies and the “For Good” ink earlier this year when they posted Instagram Stories of both tattoos.

“I have my hat and my broom,” Erivo revealed.
Grande continued, “I have Glinda from the original 1901 book by L. Frank Baum.” Baum’s first book in Or the series was The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, illustrated by WW Denslow.
Erivo added that she had a tattoo of Elphaba’s line, “Maybe some of us are just different.”
Grande then recalled that “there was a moment” when they were getting permanent ink, and she said, ‘I hope they like it.’ ” Erivo chimed in, adding, “It is what it is. It’s here.”
“It’s up to us,” Grande said, noting that the film’s director Jon M. Chu called them “hardcore” and “intense” for getting multiple Wicked tattoos.
“He said, ‘We’re not even done yet,'” Grande recalled of his reaction. “I thought, ‘Yeah. Shouldn’t we be doing this?’ ”

During the conversation with Symon, they also talked about the friendship they’ve formed and how FaceTime has helped keep them connected since production closed.
Erivo called their five-hour FaceTime conversations “ridiculous.” Grande added that she would call “to keep her company.” Erivo clarified that he would call Grande when she was getting her nails done. “Sure, and it’s like a five o’clock situation,” she joked.
“She sometimes, I think, wants to hang up and I just keep going and going and going,” Grande added. But Erivo refuted her claim, “No. I said, ‘Go on,'” adding, “We’re finding things to talk about for these five hours and it’s nice because my brain doesn’t know what’s going on, so I’m just chatting.”
“He’s the best,” Grande remarked.
