After a long investigation, Trino was finally caught for the heinous act he committed. He violently abused his two children in addition to physically assaulting Rosie, his former sister-in-law and wife. His sister-in-law came forward in 1997 and confessed to his terrible act. Jenni immediately started legal proceedings against her ex-husband after learning the devastating news. His case was submitted and he was summoned to court, but he fled and was classified as a fugitive. He changed his identity and moved to Riverside County to start over.
Despite attempts to conceal his name, he was arrested and charged with the crime in April 2006. In addition, the court hearing lasted a year, that is, until Trino was found guilty of sexual abuse and sentenced to prison. He received a sentence of 31 years in prison, which he will serve concurrently. The judge sentenced nine serious criminal acts of sexual behavior, three cases of child abuse, one case of sexual abuse, one count of repeated sexual abuse and three cases of oral contact with a minor. On the day of the verdict, all his family members joined him. Chris, his eldest daughter, who he physically abused for four years, said she adores her father and has forgiven him.
