Joshua Jackson is making waves with his stars Doctor Odysseus.
The November 7 episode of Jackson’s latest Ryan Murphy venture Doctor Odysseusended with the actor having a threesome with his two co-stars Avery (Phillipa Soo) and Tristan (Sean Teale).
Jackson’s character, Max, came up with the idea by accident after asking Avery and Tristan for five life goals one night over several bottles of champagne.

It was Tristan who brought up the activity in conversation after saying that falling in love, “like an eternal kind of love,” was on his list.
“Before the dog, before marriage, before children, [I want to] have a three-way,” Tristan said, shocking Avery, who pointed out that he has a girlfriend in “every port” where a luxury cruise ship docks.
– It’s really difficult to organize them – Tristan admitted.

When it came time for Avery’s list, threesome sex was the last item on her list, and the trio then went to Max’s cabin for a nightcap, where he shared some of his wishes, including getting married and starting a family.
Tristan complained that none of his boss’s answers were funny, which then prompted Max to admit that he already had three – and while he made a “pact” never to share details, he said his two partners were more interested in one for other than in it.
Avery then suggested adding “good threesome” to her list to make up for her previous experience, and Max relented, adding it to his list.

The trio then seemed to start buzzing, with Avery stating, “I mean, I’m playing,” to which Tristan said, “Yeah, right, Avery.”
“What? It’s on all our lists,” she said, before setting down her drink and welcoming an eager Tristan, who quickly joined her on the couch.
After watching her two colleagues kiss for a moment, Avery pushed Tristan off of her and started kissing Max, while Tristan hugged her from behind.
The episode ended abruptly, and what will happen between the trio is only hinted at, but not fully explored.

The event episode also featured Kelsea Ballerina and marked her scripted television debut. She played an over-the-top bride, Lisa, whose groom tragically jumped into the water before their wedding day.
In an Instagram post commemorating the role, Ballerini, 31, shared a carousel of photos from the set – including a hilarious video with her on-screen mum, played by Margo Martindale – and wrote in the caption: “Screamed, cried, puked. thank you so much for you received me (Lisa).”
