Julia Fox Is Out in N.Y.C. Flashing $100 Bills in Her Clear Purse and We Have Questions

Julia Fox will always make a style statement.

Her latest look is almost demure (if she hadn’t kept her Gap button-down shirt unbuttoned all the way). To walk the streets of New York, Uncut gems the actress, 34, wore a Zac Posen design with white gloves, white heels, a white headscarf and a brat-approved lime green hat.

She was also carrying a transparent purse that looks like it’s made of glass. And inside that bag are several $100 bills.

Also, if Fox’s dress looks familiar, that’s because it’s a spinoff of the one Anne Hathaway made famous back in May. Creative director Posen designed a dress for Hathaway for the Bulgari event, inspired by Gap’s button-down shirts for which the brand is known.

After Hathaway’s dress went viral, Gap sold a limited-edition mass-market version for $125 — but it sold out almost instantly and is currently unavailable for purchase. Fox got her hands on the dress though.

The 100% cotton poplin shirt dress “elevates a classic piece with a modern silhouette as a canvas for original style,” according to the brand’s press release at the time.
