Julia Fox bravely takes boxers to the street!
The Uncut gems star (34) was photographed on the streets of Manhattan on Saturday, August 10 in a low-waisted maxi skirt that fits her like a second skin.
Up close, the garment appeared to be made entirely of different pairs of boxers that had been stitched together to create a ruffle effect. A white elastic band dropped below her hips as the outfit hugged her figure.
Fox paired the statement skirt with a bright yellow crop top with short sleeves that looked like they had nipple piercing weights on their chests.
The podcaster’s eye makeup matched her top, she wore a shade of burgundy on her lips, and styled her platinum blonde hair straight.

The “Down the Drain” singer told PEOPLE earlier this year that one of her favorite looks ever was a deconstructed white wedding-inspired design that showed a lot leather, which she wore to a Thom Browne event at Sotheby’s in New York in January.
“A dress that I’ve had in my closet for a really long time and I just decided at the last minute to go to this event, so I just threw it on quickly,” she told PEOPLE in April while promoting her E! show OMG Fashun. “First I put on the dress, and then one of my breasts was out, because of the cut of the dress, and then I remembered that I had just bought this Čopova. [Lowena] veil at the SSENSE campaign. So I said, great, I’ll put the veil on and it will cover my breast. I happened to have little gloves and a bag, and the bag said, ‘Til death do us part’.”

Her companion at the event, Amy Fine Collins, embraced Fox’s wedding outfit (which included a veil) wearing black pants and a shirt with a man’s tuxedo emblazoned on it and carrying a poodle-shaped purse. Collins’ groom-inspired outfit was made by Thom Browne.

Fox admitted at the time that she “went back and forth” about what to do with the black thong on display in the look. She didn’t know if white or black was the right choice, but she ended up going with black because she liked the idea of taking off “a layer, and she’s, like, a slutty, sultry girl.”
“Looking at the photo, I wish I could have made sure the thong wasn’t twisted, but it’s okay,” she said.
