Julia Stiles Makes Surprise Cameo on Saturday Night Live for Save The Last Dance Skit

Julia Stiles shows off her moves! The actress, 42, gave fans a glimpse of her dancing skills in the surprise episode Saturday night live on Saturday as she reprized her role as Sara from the 2001 film Save the last dance in a hilarious performance sketch on the show.

The skit started with SNL’with Chloe Fineman wearing a Christmas cape as she presented a “sexy gift idea” for the holidays during Weekend Update, hosted by Colin Jost and Michael Che.

“The perfect holiday gift this year is the dance Julia Stiles performs at the end of the 2001 film. Save the last dance” said Fineman, 35. She then stripped down to reveal an all-black outfit that matches Stiles’ character’s final look from the film.

Fineman then launched into a full dance routine she coined, “Street/Ballet,” similar to Sarah’s last dance.

“So is she getting into Julliard…?” Jost, 41, asked Fineman.

Stiles then jumped into frame as she replied, “Yes!” while wearing an outfit that matched Fineman’s and her slicked-back bun. “Sara still got into Julliard,” she added as the crowd cheered.

“How?” Jošt asked her. “Well, you didn’t see the end of the dance,” Stiles replied as Fineman yelled, “Hit!” The pair then performed a synchronized finale to their song Save the last dance routine while sitting on chairs, ending with a fist bump.
