Justin Bieber Teases Snippet of Folksy New Song as He and Wife Hailey Announce Pregnancy: 'I'm Starting to Be Open'

Justin Bieber is teasing more than one new thing in his life!

Singer Peaches, 30, and wife Hailey Baldwin Bieber announced on Thursday, May 9 that they are expecting their first child together — and in a sweet social media video sharing the news, the star included a clip of what appears to be a new song.

The song features chiming, country-inspired guitars and a slow beat over a video of his vow renewal ceremony with a model in Hawaii.

“I’m starting to open up to…” he sings before the video ends.

In the snap, the happy couple – wearing Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello – share a kiss as Hailey, 27, holds a bouquet of flowers and shows off her growing baby bump.

The new song is Bieber’s first new music since teaming up with SZA for an acoustic version of her hit “Snooze” in September. The star also jumped on Don Toliver’s “Private Landing” with Future in February 2023.

Beiber released his sixth studio album Justice in March 2021. The album was at the top Board Out of 200 albums, it has received eight Grammy nominations, including Album, Song and Record of the Year.

In April, he made a surprise appearance at Coachella, jumping on stage during Thames’ performance alongside Wizkid on Sunday, April 14.

While Tems was in the middle of performing the first verse of “Essence,” she smiled when Wizkid appeared on stage, according to fan-shot footage of the set.

As the duo exchanged verses, Bieber shocked the crowd by coming off the side of the stage to serenade “Higher” to the musician, 28. At the end of her set, Thames shared her gratitude for having her special guests and told the crowd, “This is crazy.”

In February, Bieber shared a shot of himself in the studio on Instagram, prompting fans to speculate whether new music was in the works.
