Justin Timberlake and Jelly Roll to Perform, Cher to Receive Icon Award at 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards (Exclusive)

The iHeartRadio Music Awards has announced the first round of performers for the upcoming awards show, including a special musical tribute to this year’s Icon Award winner, Cher.

Justin Timberlake, Green Day, TLC, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson and Tate McRae are set to perform during the April 1st event. The 2024 show will air live on Fox from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET.

The show also announced that in addition to the honor performance, the “Believe” singer, 77, will receive the 2024 iHeartRadio Icon Award, “in honor of her unparalleled contributions to music and pop culture over more than seven decades,” according to a press release.

The Emmy, Oscar and Grammy winner has sold more than 100 million records throughout her career and is the only artist to have a No. 1 single on the Billboard charts for seven consecutive decades.

Taylor Swift, Jelly Roll, SZA and 21 Savage Lead Nominations for 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards — See the List!

The musician with the most nominations is Taylor Swift — who won a total of nine nominations. Close behind with eight nominations, it includes artist Jelly Roll, as well as SZA and 21 Savage.

All the top nominees are in the running for song of the year alongside Olivia Rodrigo, Doja Cat, Duo Lipa, Luke Combs, Miley Cyrus, Morgan Wallen, Remo and Selena Gomez and 21 Savage’s nominated collaborator “Creepin’,” Metro Boomin and The Weeknd .

This year’s show also added five new categories: Pop Artist of the Year, Pop Song of the Year, K-Pop Artist of the Year, K-Pop Song of the Year and Best New Artist (K-pop).

Voting has begun and will continue until March 25th at 11:59 PM PT. for several select categories — including Best Lyrics, Best Music Video, Best Fandom, Social Star Award, Favorite Tour Photographer, TikTok Bop of the Year, Favorite On-Screen, Favorite Tour Style and Favorite Debut Album.
