Justin Timberlake talks about the devastating fires in Los Angeles.

During his concert on Saturday, January 18 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, Timberlake stopped his Forget Tomorrow world tour to bring attention to the fires that continue to burn in LA

“I want to take a moment to recognize what’s going on in LA. I want to call the 911, the fire department, the community members, everything you’ve given,” Timberlake said.

He continued: “I’m sure so many of us in this room know someone, or are related to someone, or have heard that someone so close to us has been affected by this devastating incident. And so many of us on stage or live there and in the crew know people who live there, and we just came from there, and it’s really devastating.”

Despite the nature of the tragedy that continues to unfold, Timberlake drew attention to the good – how in times of crisis, people from all walks of life find a way to come together to help others.

I just wanted to recognize how nice it is, how well everyone reacted in that area, he concluded. “And I just wanted to say: Keep your thoughts and prayers with LA Donate if you can — if you can — but thoughts and prayers with LA Thank you so much, Anaheim.”
