Kang Daniel, the MC, is ready to make a comeback! This summer, the Upside Down singer returns as the main host of Mnet’s “Street Man Fighter”. They will be hosting a host of great dance acts including 1MILLION, WeDemBoyz, BANK TWO BROTHERS, PRIME KINGZ, YGX, Mbitious and JustJerk, showing off their amazing hosting skills once again. Kang Daniel is probably safely chosen to lead the male version of “Street Woman Fighter”.
Kang Daniel is not only technically trained in b-boying, but also has an excellent understanding of dance as a result of his blossoming idol career in group and solo projects, and he is also a convincing host. He previously hosted “Street Woman Fighter,” a South Korean dance survival program in which eight female dance teams competed to be Korea’s greatest female dance team to represent K-dance.
What is the story of Kang Daniel’s Street Man Fighter?
On January 5, Mnet released a trailer for the male version of the program called “Street Man Fighter,” which will now air in August. Mnet has selected its final group of contestants to compete in a fierce dance battle to win the grand prize after months of training. Then, in April, Rain, a prominent singer and entrepreneur, was announced as the host of Mnet’s “Street Man Fighter”.
A predecessor titled “Be Mbitious” allowed lone dancers to compete for a spot on the dance team of the “Mbitious” project, which was set to join the “Street Man Fighter” roster. Applications for the show were open to all performers, including K-pop celebrities, choreographers, academics and world-class dancers, and only the best of the best would be selected to join the “Avengers” dance troupe “Mbitious”.
This previous program was hosted by singer Rain, who is adored and worshiped by budding singers and artists and an inspiration to the contestants. Eventually, due to popular demand, the Antidote singer was chosen to MC the survival show on July 15th. Reacting to the news, he stated:
“I’m thrilled to be back as the main host of Street Man Fighter.” The upcoming event will be full of fun and entertainment and I will do my best to make sure you have a good time. Please watch out for a fierce rivalry.”
Then he said:
“I agreed to appear in the next program because I have great confidence in producer Choi Jeong Nam and his team from our past collaboration on one of his earlier series.”

The Danes are delighted with the return of MC Kang Daniel.
The singer’s name is almost synonymous with the “Street Fighter” lineage, having hosted or been associated with “Street Woman Fighter,” “Street Dancer Girl Fighter,” and now “Street Man Fighter.” Fans are of course delighted that the Parade singer will host the program and welcomed the return of the song “MC Kang Daniel”.
Kang Daniel also created the OST for “Street Man Fighter,” which will serve as the game’s main theme. The song will be a ballad that will give the contestants hope and courage whenever they are unsatisfied in the fight for victory. However, it is not known whether the Antidote singer will perform the OST or not.
On July 23rd, Kang Daniel will host a fan tag event. On July 23 at 14:00 KST (10:30 AM IST), global fandom site UNIVERSE will host an offline fan signing event for the PARANOIA singer, followed by a 1:1 LIVE CALL event on July 24 at 19:00 KST (15:30 IST). The fan gathering, themed “BLACK GAMBLER”, is expected to attract at least 60 people.
