Kansas City Chiefs Owner's Daughter Gracie Hunt Reveals What It's Really Like to Have Taylor Swift at Games (Exclusive)

Kansas City Chiefs heiress Gracie Hunt recently spoke with PEOPLE about Taylor Swift’s continued support of the four-time Super Bowl-winning team since her romance with Travis Kelce began at the start of the 2023 season.

Before gushing about the positive impact the 14-time Grammy winner has had on the Kansas City-based team, the 25-year-old Hunt — who is the daughter of Chiefs president and CEO Clark Hunt and his wife, Tavia Hunt — praised how “absolutely amazing” Swift is first and foremost as a person.

“The whole world knows,” Hunt says, adding, “It’s been such a special time for her to be a part of Chiefs Kingdom. She’s as beautiful and wonderful as you could ever imagine, as smart and intelligent.”

When she reflected on the reality of being a global superstar who “roots for the Chiefs,” the former Miss Kansas USA 2021 was almost at a loss for words. “Sometimes it feels a little surreal because you and I grew up watching her and falling in love with her music, as did much of the world.”

Swift and Kelce first sparked dating rumors in September 2023 after the singer attended several of the tight end’s games. The couple confirmed their romance in October 2023 when they stepped out holding hands Saturday night live after party.

In the year that followed, Kelce talked about Swift in interviews — and Swift seemingly sings about Kelce on her album Department for tortured poets (she even invited him on stage to perform with her during her record-breaking Eras tour!).

All the while, Swift continued to cheer Kelce on at his games. She celebrated his 2023 Super Bowl win with a kiss on the field (and at the Chiefs party) to close out last year’s winning season, and was also a suite staple during the 2024 season.

Since Swift first voiced her support for the Chiefs, she has made a dramatic impact on the demographics of the team, in addition to the NFL audience as a whole. Hunt estimates the singer has “increased” her family franchise’s fan base “between 30 and 40 percent since her presence.”

“It was so special to have her as part of Chiefs Kingdom,” Hunt emphasizes.

Not only did Swift demonstrate team spirit at the games, but she also destroyed game-day style — which, in Hunt’s opinion, is top notch. “If there’s anyone’s game day look that I absolutely love, it’s Taylor’s,” she reveals.

“I love seeing Brittany [Mahomes]and all the other wives. And my mom always likes her,” she continues. “But then when Taylor comes in, we’re all like, ‘What was the offense like?'” Of Swift, Hunt adds, “She’s a blast and I really love seeing her game day style.”

Another aspect of Swift that Hunt definitely points out is her “down to earth” character. – She is so nice and kind to everyone.

The charismatic pop star personality that Hunt describes was on display for all to see, whether they met the singer or not. Just look at the star-studded pack who often get screen time during games, with Swift smiling and cheering alongside fellow Chiefs WAGs.

In November, Chariah Gordon — who is the fiancee of Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr., famous for scoring the Super Bowl-winning touchdown last year — exclusively told PEOPLE that Swift lets her guard down at games.

“She’s like that… She’s fun, loving, sweet,” Gordon says of the “So High School” singer. “We’re having a good time and we’re here to support our men. She’s just one of the sweetest people ever… that’s just it.”

Now, Hunt tells PEOPLE of Swift, “No matter who you are or what circle you fall into… it’s just Taylor.”
