Karol G’s private plane was reportedly forced to make an emergency landing on Thursday evening.
As local media ABC7 reports, the singer’s plane made an emergency landing at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles around 9 p.m. local time after the pilot reported smoke in the cockpit.
The plane, which was carrying 16 people, took off from Hollywood Burbank Airport on Thursday night but turned around when the pilot reported a mid-air problem, ABC7 reports.
The Grammy-winning star, 33, was seen hugging some of her fellow passengers on the runway after they exited the plane in footage captured by the outlet. The jet was also met by airport emergency vehicles upon boarding.
