Kate Bedingfield is an American political consultant who has been appointed as the White House communications director for the Biden administration. Previously, she served as deputy campaign manager for Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign. She is also Biden’s former communications director when he was vice president in the Obama administration.

Kate Bedingfield was born in 1982 (current age: 39; as of 2021) as Katherine Joan Bedingfield from Sandy Springs, Georgia. She attended Sandy Springs Charter Middle School and later attended Riverwood International Charter School in Atlanta, Georgia. We lived along the Chattahoochee River…We used to go to the state park, the National Recreation Area, along the river and walk the dogs and play in the river. I remember playing softball at Morgan Falls (Park) and doing gymnastics at Hammond Park.”

In May 2013, Bedingfield served as a spokesperson and vice president of corporate communications for the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA).
