Wendy’s Is Giving Out Free Kids’ Meals to Kick Off the School Year

Classes are already underway at Wendy’s.

In honor of the back-to-school season, the fast food restaurant is offering customers a free kid’s meal with the purchase of a premium combo meal. The contract was first available on August 12th and will be available until September 2nd.

Wendy’s kids meals include a choice of four chicken nuggets (plain or spicy), cheeseburger or hamburger and either Jr. French fries or a slice of apple. In addition, children can choose a drink, such as blueberry lemonade, pomegranate or chocolate milk, and a toy.

It’s all free when a customer buys a premium combo meal, which consists of a premium sandwich (like a baconator sandwich or spicy chicken), a side dish and a drink. The exact price of a premium combo meal depends on the main meal selected and the location of the restaurant, but typically ranges from $10 to $15.

The offer is only available on the Wendy’s app, and there’s a limit of one free kid’s meal per customer per visit — but there’s no limit to how many times fans can redeem the offer during the offer period.

While grabbing the meal deal, parents should leave room for dessert. A small chocolate or triple berry Frosty from Wendy’s is $1 through September 15th. Best of all, there’s no limit to the number of discounted frozen treats.
