Kate, 33, and Dan, 34, both starred in The Only Way Is Essex, in which their on-screen romance played out.
Their relationship was hit by cheating allegations at the time.
During a row with Dan on TOWIE in 2017, Kate said: “You made me feel like I was crazy, you were like, ‘You’re crazy, you’re making it up in your head.’ You made me feel like I was crazy.”
A source said: “Rio and Kate will be united as they come to the Dancing On Ice studio to watch Anton.

“It’s always embarrassing to see your ex. Kate is just happy to have Rio by her side in the audience.
“Luckily, Dan won’t be skating his first routine until next week so that means Kate won’t have to sit through the whole performance. Things had been going on between Kate and Dan for years and it was clear that there was a lot of love between them.
“Kate is now clearly very happily married to Rio and shows the strength of their relationship that she is not fazed by Dan’s presence.”
Speaking to The Sun on Sunday, former West Ham star Anton insisted Kate’s past relationship with Dan was not mentioned in their family group chat.
He said, “No, none of that. Kate and Rio are only focused on what I’m doing and nothing else. They’re proud of me and that’s all that matters.”
‘Lots of drama’
Kate joined the Essex reality show in 2015 and was introduced as the girlfriend of then-main cast Dan.

Their whirlwind romance played out on the ITVBe series until they finally ended their six-year relationship in 2016.
After they decided to part ways, Dan admitted: “I feel like our relationship was like we’d been married for 30 years and we got on each other’s nerves.
“I can’t believe it has come to this. I honestly thought we were going to be together for the rest of our lives.”
Kate then met Rio during a trip to Dubai and later decided to leave TOWIE to pursue her relationship.
It came after Rebecca Ellison – Rio’s wife and mother to their three teenage children Lorenzo, Tate and Tia – lost her life to breast cancer at the age of 34.
Speaking about her decision to leave TOWIE, Kate said at the time: “I had two choices. I’m in this world with a lot of drama, and then I met Rio and the kids and I thought, I’m with these kids who lost their mother. They don’t need a wife who’s out all the time — they need someone at home with them.”
Since tying the knot in Turkey in 2019, Kate and Rio have two children – three-year-old son Cree and one-year-old daughter Shae.
And the former TV beauty seems to have left her ex-love behind.
Speaking about Kate in 2018, Dan admitted: “We don’t talk. I haven’t seen her for a long time.”
And before that he lashed out at Kate over her relationship with Rio, adding: “I didn’t think he would be her type at all. I know I’ve made mistakes in the past, but I’m disappointed. I want her to be happy, but this seems a little strange.”
In tonight’s opening episode of Dancing On Ice, Anton will be skating alongside Coronation Street actor Sam Aston, reality star Ferne McCann, wildlife presenter Michaela Strachan, Hollyoaks actress Chelsee Healey and former Love Islander Chris Taylor.
Anton — who has three children under the age of 12 with his wife Lucy — said: “It’s nice to have the support of Rio and my whole family.
“We’re a close-knit family and we support each other, whether it’s football, Ice Dancing or being in the West End, which is what my sisters are.
“We wish everyone well and support them to do the best they can.
“My dad will be here for the weekend and if I see a proud smile, I’ll be happy.”
Meanwhile, fellow contestant Sam revealed his Corrie co-star Ryan Thomas urged him not to apply for Dancing on Ice after winning the show last year.
The actor, who played Chesney on the soap for 22 years, said: “Ryan was one of the first to say, ‘Don’t do it, mate. It’s stressful.’ But he was very supportive, he called me and checked on me. He’s been there and done that so he won – but there are loads of people in Corrie who have done that.
“Sally Dynevor was brilliant. People keep saying, ‘You’ve got big shoes to fill.’
Next Sunday’s show will see The Traitors star Mollie Pearce, EastEnders, Charlie Brooks, comedian Josh Jones and Olympic rowing legend Sir Steve Redgrave take to the rink.
Now retired, Sir Steve said he wanted to ditch the mature look and shine instead.
The five-time gold medalist said: “I’m not really sure about the tan – but put on glitter.
“They dressed me in a tuxedo jacket like a mature old man. I want glitter and shine.
“If you’re out of your comfort zone, then we go all the way.
“If there aren’t enough sequins, I’ll complain to the wardrobe department!”
Hol’s no ice rink
HOLLY WILLOUGHBY does not intend to take to the ice during the new series despite having all the experts at her disposal.
Judge and former Olympic figure skater Christopher Dean said Holly, who hosted Dancing On Ice for the first time in 2006, had tried skating before but decided not to take it up as a hobby.

Christopher said: “Holly tried a long time ago and I think she decided there and then that was it.”
However, the gold medal legend revealed that Stephen Mulhern, who replaced Phillip Schofield as co-host of the series last year, could show off his skating skills.
Christopher said: “Stephen is like a puppy who wants to climb the ice, so who knows?
“Maybe we’ll see him on the ice this year.
“I hope so – it depends if he can get some exercise.”
Healey hurts
HOLLYOAKS star Chelsee Healey has revealed she’s still waiting to get her “skate bum” despite long hours of training.
The actress joked that she hasn’t developed the famously perky butt that comes from constantly using her glutes.

The actress, who plays Goldie McQueen, said: “I’m still waiting to see it!
“I’m in a lot of pain so I can feel it, but I can’t see it right now.”
Speaking about what she’ll take with her from the show, Chelsee said: “Experience – it’s not a skater’s butt anyway.”
Meanwhile, Chelsee revealed she had sleepless nights during the competition and relied on her skating partner Andy Buchanan for support.
She said: “I am so worried and awake at night. It was really mentally challenging.
“Andy was the best support.”
Plastic is fantastic on the ice rink
LOVE Island’s Chris Taylor has said he hopes to perform the Barbie routine in Dancing On Ice after his cameo in last year’s megahit film.
The reality star had a small speaking role alongside Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, who played Barbie and Ken in the 2023 film.
Speaking about his skating routine, Chris said: “You’ll have to watch to find out. I would, but mostly because I love Barbie clothes – especially Ryan Gosling clothes. You know, a big fur coat.”
Asked if he wanted to follow Pete Wicks, who went viral for wearing pink PVC trousers on Strictly, Chris added: “Nothing is out of the question.”
Michaela got a warning
TV PRESENTER Michaela Strachan has revealed her partner talked her out of signing up for Dancing on Ice after watching brutal accidents in previous series.
The Springwatch presenter said cameraman Nick Chevallier was afraid she would fall or break a limb.
She said: “We watched accidents on YouTube. We sat in bed and I said: ‘Come on, let’s watch accidents’.
“He looked at me and said, ‘I don’t think you should do that.’ He is not familiar with the show.
“He said, ‘I really don’t think this is a good idea.'”
Jayne’s Becks dream
SKATING legend Jayne Torvill has said she is still eager to sign David Beckham for Dancing On Ice.
Of her dream contestant, Jayne said: “I always say David, but I think he’s probably a bit busy.”
Meanwhile, her former Olympic skating partner Christopher Dean said: “Royal – definitely.
William and Kate. They would be a perfect pair on the ice.”
