Kate Hudson is spending the last days of summer with her little girl.
“The last moments of a beautiful summer ☀️,” Hudson, 44, captioned an Instagram carousel with her daughter Rani Rose on Wednesday. In one of the sweet shots, How to lose a guy in 10 days the actress snuggled up to her youngest for a smiling selfie while lounging in bed.
Another picture shows Hudson’s daughter posing with an ice cream cone with colorful spots. The precious photos continued, as the 5-year-old was pictured sitting in the living room in front of a meal consisting of eggs and potato cubes.
The 2022 Golden Globe winner told PEOPLE that her daughter enjoys being able to help out in the kitchen. Rani loves food and I cook with her all the time, Hudson said. – She is my little assistant, she is very precise in everything she does.
The cuddling continued in the final photos, which show mum and daughter cuddling on a chair, with Rani Rose holding a stuffed animal as she stands outside in the final shot.
Hudson and fiancé Danny Fujikawa welcomed Rani Rose into the world on October 2, 2018. Her name is a tribute to Danny’s father, Ron Fujikawa, who passed away in 2012. “It’s an honor to be named after him,” Bride wars the star previously revealed on Instagram.

He has two other children from previous relationships. Hudson shares her first child Ryder Russell, 19, with ex-husband Chris Robinson, and her second son Bingham Hawn, 12, with ex-fiancé, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy.

Hudson towed her three kids around the world this summer while school was out. In July, Skeleton key the star posted several photos of the group as they spent time in Italy.
“Happiness and pasta 🍝 Are not mutually exclusive 🇮🇹❤️☀️🌙 Exploring with my favorite people ❤️,” Hudson wrote in an Instagram post. In the first picture, the California native posed for a nighttime selfie in front of the historic building with Rani riding on her back. The family also spent some time on the beach and showed how well they eat.

In another post in Sicily from earlier this month, the mum-of-three photographed her boys hanging out in their swimming trunks. She also captured impressive footage of Danny, 37, doing a backflip off a cliff into the water.

This year, the Oscar nominee also celebrated her three children on Mother’s Day with another tribute on social media. “I’ve been a mom since 2004 🐣🐣🐣 #lovesofmylife,” Hudson captioned an Instagram group photo of her and her kids smiling for a selfie while huddled in bed in their pajamas.
