Kate Middleton and Prince William Share 2023 Recap and Thank Those Who Were ‘A Part of Our Year’

Kate Middleton and Prince William end 2023 with a recap of their epic year.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 41, shared a short video montage with several photos and videos highlighting the royal family’s biggest moments of the year. In the caption of the post, they also shared a message thanking “everyone who was a part of our year.”

The video began with behind-the-scenes photos of the royal couple preparing for the historic coronation of King Charles alongside their children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, 5. In the video, they climb a staircase in their royal attire as they enter the car that will take them to the coronation ceremony. Over the video are the words: “This was 2023.”

Several photos of the royal family taken over the past few months are then interspersed with Harry Styles’ “As It Was.” Some of the main moments celebrated in the video include William and Kate with their children on the balcony after Charles’ coronation in May, the royal couple making their first appearance at Royal Ascot 2023 in June and the couple watching the plane for the Royal Coronation in Scotland in July .
