Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan have gone public with their romance!

The singer “Pera” i Saltburn actor first sparked dating rumors in late 2023. A few months later, the couple enjoyed a date in Los Angeles, where onlookers told PEOPLE they “kissed a little.”

Carpenter and Keoghan made their red carpet debut in March 2024 vanity fair Party after the Oscars before going to the Met Gala together in May of the same year.

Before dating Keoghan, Carpenter was romantically linked to singers Joshua Bassett and Shawn Mendes. As for the actor, he was in a long-term relationship with Alyson Kierans, with whom he has a son, Brando. Keoghan called the Keirans an “amazing mother” who “did a great job” with their son during an interview with GQ in January 2024.

After Carpenter attended a previous screening of the film Saltburn in New York on September 20, 2023, she reportedly met Keoghan a week later at a fashion event. According to E! News, their paths first crossed during Paris Fashion Week when they both attended the Givenchy show on September 28.

During the event, Carpenter was seen wearing a sheer black dress before posing alongside fellow Disney Channel alum Dove Cameron in the front row. Meanwhile, Keoghan was photographed at the event wearing black trousers and a bomber jacket.

In early December 2023, Carpenter and Keoghan sparked romance rumors as they were spotted going out to dinner together in Los Angeles, according to photos obtained by The Daily Mail. The two kept quiet as they left the restaurant and headed for their car.

Since their first date, Carpenter and Keoghan have gone on a handful of low-key outings together. In January 2024, they stopped by Luna Luna — an art theme park that recreates the original 1987 art theme park in Germany — a source confirmed to PEOPLE at the time.

“It definitely looked like a date,” an onlooker told PEOPLE of their date, adding that they were “cute” together and “kissed a little.”

Carpenter and Keoghan appeared to have “soft started” their relationship W MagazineMark Ronson and Gucci’s Grammy After Party on February 4th. Although they posed separately on the red carpet, they were seen relaxing together inside the event.

W Magazine later he shared their photo together at X, in which Keoghan playfully covered his mouth and Carpenter held a drink in front of her face.

February 9, 2024: Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan confirmed their romance

After months of rumored dating, Carpenter and Keoghan were seen showing PDA in Los Angeles in mid-February. After dining at Nobu on February 9, the two were seen kissing after leaving the Bel-Air Hotel. Just a few days later, they were all smiles as they enjoyed another evening in the City of Angels.

The outings came just a day before Keoghan sidestepped questions about his romance with Carpenter while signing autographs. In a video shared by TMZ, the actor remained silent when asked about his Valentine’s Day plans with the singer, who is set to perform for Taylor Swift during her Eras Tour in Australia on February 16.

March 3, 2024: Barry Keoghan supports Sabrina Carpenter on the Eras Tour

On March 3, Keoghan showed his support for Carpenter at the opening of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Singapore. While Carpenter sang her hit “Nonsense,” the Saltburn the actor was seen smiling sweetly while listening to her performance, according to videos shared by fans online.

March 10, 2024: Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan make their red carpet debut as a couple

After the Oscars on March 10, Carpenter and Keoghan made their red carpet debut as a couple at Vanity Fair’s Oscars after party. During the event, the two were seen posing next to each other before taking photos together.

In the picture, they could be seen putting their hands over their mouths as Keoghan wore a friendship bracelet that appeared to be dedicated to the singer. A colorful fashion accessory that is caught on vanity fair and Instagram’s Vanities Party, was adorned with a heart-shaped pendant and included the name “Sabrina” seemingly written in letter balls.

April 13, 2024: Barry Keoghan supports Sabrina Carpenter at Coachella

Keoghan was her support boy when Carpenter performed at Coachella in April. The actor was seen filming the singer on his phone as she performed her set in the desert. At one point, Carpenter was seen waving at Keoghan, which made him smile.

Later in the night, the two hung out with Swift and Travis Kelce while watching Ice Spice perform on stage.

May 6, 2024: Barry Keoghan and Sabrina Carpenter attend the Met Gala

Although they didn’t walk the red carpet together, Keoghan and Carpenter met again at the top of the Met Gala steps before entering the event. The “Espressa” singer looked elegant in a blue dress designed by Oscar de la Renta, and the actor went for the “Garden of Time” theme with a Mad Hatter-style ensemble by Burberry.

May 11, 2024: Barry Keoghan hosts Sabrina Carpenter’s 25th birthday party

Carpenter celebrated her 25th birthday with her close friends as Keoghan threw her a sweet party at DUMBO House in Brooklyn, a source told PEOPLE. As some sharp-eyed fans on Xu noticed, her cake featured a photo of Leonardo DiCaprio edited to look like a Snapchat message, with the caption: “No, don’t turn 25 [you’re] so sexy, huh.” The meme is a play on a recurring joke about the actor’s love life — specifically, that he doesn’t date women over the age of 25.

According to the source, Carpenter blew out the candles before sharing a sweet kiss with Keoghan.

Carpenter and Keoghan took their relationship to the next level when they starred in the music video for her new single ‘Please Please Please’, which was produced by Jack Antonoff.

The video shows Carpenter and Keoghan in a Bonnie and Clyde romance as the actor constantly gets into trouble with the law. She even cheekily refers to his profession at the beginning of the song, singing, “I heard you’re an actor, so act like a stand-up guy.”

Carpenter doesn’t want to “sound biased,” but she thinks her boyfriend is pretty talented. While talking to Diversityshe described Keoghan as “one of the best actors of this generation”.
