Kate Winslet is considering working with Leonardo DiCaprio Titanic.
The actress, 48, described DiCaprio, 49, as “magnetic” on set, noting that they “clicked instantly” while working together on the 1997 hit film.
“When I started working with Leo, we were able to kind of find our own rhythm. And it’s amazing to look back and think about it again,” Winslet said. Party tonightahead of the film’s 4K Ultra HD re-release on December 5th.
“He was kind of a mess of long, skinny, uncoordinated limbs. And he was just very free with himself, and he had this effervescent energy that was really magnetic,” she continued. “And I remember thinking, ‘Oh, this is going to be fun. We’re definitely going to get along.’ And we really are. We really are.”

Winslet met DiCaprio in 1996 on the set of the film Titanic. They played lovers Rose DeWitt Bukater and Jack Dawson.
“He was very, very smart then, very, very curious. So he was really fascinated by that period, the details about the ship, the lower classes, where these people came from, how these people paid for their tickets,” Winslet said. ET. “That sense of focus on craft and still caring deeply about it to this day.”
The actress said at the time that she found her “own rhythm” working with DiCapri and that the pair “connected on so many levels” on set, fostering a friendship and respect for each other that continued years after filming together.
The actors played lovers Rose and Jack in the hit movie from 1997.

Winslet said of the friendship: “We’ll always make that call right away. No guy: ‘Wait, I’ll call you tomorrow.’ That’s right now. And that’s actually something…if you think about it, in the world we live in now, to have friendships that bind you together and that shared history, that’s really something.”
