The son of Katharine McFee Foster and David Foster seems to have inherited his parents’ talent.
In a video posted to Instagram, McPhee Foster, 39, shows her three-year-old son Rennie David playing the drums on stage during her and her husband’s performance in Washington DC on Sunday. The little one can be seen hitting the tambourine while his famous parents cheer him on.
“A VERY special guest joined us on stage for the first time 🥁 #ProudMama,” McPhee Foster captioned the video.
The video opens with the singer standing in the back dancing as she watches Rennie David drum along with Foster, 74, on piano.

Sitting with his custom drum kit with his name emblazoned on the front, Rennie David wore headphones and performed a drum solo. While he was playing, his dad sat on the couch and watched.
“❗️ Entering the new year ❗️ #still2yearsold,” Foster wrote in the caption about his son, who turned 3 on February 22.
McPhee Foster and Foster recently took their little boy to Walt Disney World in Florida to celebrate his third birthday. On February 19, the actress posted a video on her Instagram Story in which she shared how the family spends their free time.
