The couple arrived at the American Ballet Theater’s 2023 Fall Gala on Tuesday night at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Couric, 66, dazzled in a ball gown cinched in at the waist with a belt. The strapless formal gown featured an ombre effect of abstract watercolor flowers that started at the bodice and slowly faded into a light purple color that reached the floor of her dress.

She accessorized the colorful dress with a pair of silver platform heels, silver rings, a gold cuff and gold floral earrings.

Her 60-year-old husband opted for an elegant look in a navy blue suit with a white button-up and a navy blue tie.

“I feel super lucky that it was diagnosed when it was,” Couric said on Today show. In July, she had a lumpectomy to remove a tumor the size of an olive, and in September 2022, she began radiation.

Molner revealed in an interview with Katie Couric Media that she saw Couric speak publicly about her cancer diagnosis and writing her 2021 memoir. Going there.

“I does consider yourself a private person. But Katie is a public person and likes to share her life. I was worried about what she was going to share,” Molner said. “But I also thought that to write an important book, she had to be willing to be authentic about her journey. And that’s what she did. There is no point in writing a book like this if you are not prepared to be honest with yourself. And I think she absolutely did.”
