Katie Price told ‘no ifs, no buts, NO holidays or you’ll be arrested again’ by judge in stark warning

KATIE Price has been told she will be arrested if she goes on holiday again in a stern warning from a judge.

The former model, 46, appeared at the High Court in London today to face a bankruptcy hearing.

The court appearance came hours after she was detained at Heathrow Airport last night.

Stepping off the plane, Price was confronted by officers who were executing an arrest warrant issued by a High Court judge after Price failed to appear for a hearing last Tuesday.

Instead, she left the UK and flew to Turkey to undergo her sixth facelift.

She was wearing a headband and sunglasses when she arrived at the High Court today for the hearing.

And she was sternly warned not to go back on vacation before the next trial.

Notifying her of her next date of August 27, Judge Schaffer told the mother of five that she must come to court and provide the documents when asked.

He said: “These are obligations to the court, which means if you breach the obligations in any way, shape or form, you will be sent back into custody.

“It’s a pretty serious thing.”

“You have to come on that date, there are no ifs or buts, no holidays, no going abroad, you have to come on that date.”

The judge warned Price that he faced repeat theft if he did not comply.

Price confirmed she understood she had to attend and later added, “I’m going to move my diary for that.”

Judge Schaffer also quashed an arrest warrant issued against her on July 30 by another judge after she failed to appear for a preliminary hearing.

During today’s hearing, the judge also censured Price over claims she was charged £50,000 for legal advice.

Price told the court she wanted to attend the next hearing remotely, adding: “I’m having a hard time in court. I was evaluated by another higher court.”

Judge Schaffer told her that she had to file for it and that she should seek legal advice.

Price replied: “With legal advice, I tried to get legal advice but I was charged £50,000 up front.

“Now in bankruptcy at this point, bankruptcy takes 40 percent.

“It’s hard for me to do that. I can’t even get legal help because I’m making money.”

The judge told her she simply needed a lawyer who should not cost more than £500.

Then he snapped, “This is a discreet application. You don’t need Einstein for that.”

Price arrived in court surrounded by photographers earlier for the 2 p.m. hearing.

The hearing was held at the Rolls Building, but Price attended via video link from the High Court staff office at the Royal Courts of Justice.

Full statement from Katie Price

I would just like to thank everyone who has shown support and sympathy this week with my arrest situation.

Despite what was wrongly reported, I am now back from filming my documentary.

I’ve never just been overseas and I didn’t know what was going on and I stand by the facts, which is that there was a misunderstanding between a number of people here regarding my bankruptcy.

However, I am now coming home from work and am aware that I will be detained at the airport, which is apparently what the courts deem necessary.

Of course, I hope for the sake of my sons who are with me that they will allow me some dignity and protection at least for his sake because it will be extremely upsetting for him.

Although I understand the importance and seriousness of the matter, I feel like I am being treated like a criminal.

I would like to emphasize once again that this is a very unfortunate financial situation which, however difficult, does not make a criminal or a bad person.

Millions of people suffer losses and go through bankruptcy, for many different reasons, mine was due to serious mental health issues and breakdowns caused by PTSD.

Although it was difficult, I will repeatedly stand behind the fact that I am not embarrassed or ashamed that this happened to me.

People lose their lives every day because of the inconvenience and fear of situations like this, and the public bullying I’ve endured over this issue is just not right. I will continue to speak about it and I will not be ashamed.

I am and continue to pay back debtors as ordered by the court.

I will take this up with the police and the courts when I land and ask that for the sake of my son Harvey be treated with care and compassion.

I’m just a human being after all. I appreciate all of you for continuing to show me love, it means a lot to me.

She was remanded in custody to appear after her arrest last night.

But Price was granted bail in the middle of the night by an out-of-hours judge.

It comes just days after she underwent £10,000 eye and chin surgery in Istanbul after her usual surgeon refused to do the work for her.

And despite knowing about the warrant for her arrest, Price was seen enjoying her holiday as she soaked up the sun at the five-star hotel.

a source previously revealed that Katie extended her trip due to fears of being arrested with staples in her face after the operation.

They told The Sun: “Katie is actually extending her holiday and plans to stay longer in Turkey.

“She is worried she will be arrested at the airport when she lands back in the UK and will have to go to jail before the metal staples are removed from her face.

“She’s really worried about getting arrested in front of Harvey, and that would upset her.

“It is better for her to hide in Turkey and recover there.”

Price herself admitted that she would be arrested upon her return to the UK from holiday.

In a statement pleading for the “protection” of son Harvey, she said: “I am aware that I will be detained at the airport, which is obviously what the courts feel is necessary.

“Of course, I hope that because of my son who is with me, it will allow some dignity and protection at least for his sake.”

Price added: “This will be extremely upsetting for him to see.

“Even though I understand the importance and seriousness of the matter, I feel like I’m being treated like a criminal.”

Price declared bankruptcy in November 2019 and again in March of this year.

At a hearing in February, she was ordered to pay 40 percent of her monthly income from adult entertainment website OnlyFans over the next three years toward her first bankruptcy.

She then went bankrupt for a second time in March owing more than £750,000 in unpaid tax.
