After completing his formal education, Kavvampally Satyanarayana started practicing medicine in Andhra Pradesh and later in Telangana (after its establishment in 2014). He worked as a general surgeon at Guru Nanak Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Hyderabad. He and his wife Anuradha are the founders of Ankith Multi-Specialty Hospital in Hyderabad. He is also an expert in laparoscopy and endoscopy. Apart from being a doctor, he also serves as Assistant Professor of Surgery, Andhra Pradesh.

In 2009, he contested the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections from the Manakondur constituency, reserved for scheduled caste (SC) candidates, on the BJP ticket. However, he lost the election to Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Arepalli Mohan. He later left PRAP and became a member of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and contested the 2014 Telangana elections from Manakondur constituency. In the election, he was defeated by Rasamayi Balakishan, the candidate of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BRS).
Thereafter, he left TDP and joined INC. He was later appointed to the Karimnagar District Congress Committee (DCC). Kafvanpalli contested the 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly elections from INC and defeated his nearest rival, BRS candidate Erupura Balakishan, by a margin of 32,365 votes Erupula Balakishan).

In the video, the woman is seen trying to distance herself from Kafwanpalli. Another clip from the same event shows him dancing with another female INC employee, holding her hand.
