Many fans of Lindsay Lohan would love to see her return to music – and one of them is Kelly Clarkson!
During the performance at The Kelly Clarkson Show along with Ayesha Curry this week to promote their new Netflix movie Irish wishClarkson asked Lohan if she would ever make music again.
“Uh, I don’t know,” he said Mean girls actress, 37, with a laugh.

Clarkson, 41, whose second album is Secession was released in 2004, the same year Lohan released her debut album Speak, he answered encouragingly. “I feel like we were at the same time in a certain part of our career, so I was like, ‘Oh man… I wonder if he’s going to come out with more music.’ You should anyway,” he said American Idol alum.
“Thank you. I appreciate it,” said Lohan, who later added of her sister Aliana, “But my sister sings, so I’m rooting for her right now.”
After making a name for himself with films including The parent trap and Life sizeLindsay officially began her music career in 2004 with “Rumors”, the lead single Speak. The song went gold in the United States and earned an MTV Video Music Award nomination, while the album peaked at #4 Board 200 and sold more than a million units across the country.

She released her next album in 2005. A little more personal (Raw)which gave birth to a Board Hot 100 hit single with the vulnerable ballad “Confessions of a Broken Heart (Daughter to Father)”.
Three years later, Lindsay released a one-off single titled “Bossy” before retiring from music for the most part, only to return briefly with two more solo songs: “Back to Me” in 2020 and a cover of “Jingle Bell Rock.” a 2022 Netflix movie for her Falling for Christmas.
Through Irish wish press cycle, she spoke several times about the idea of returning to music, and recently she did Party tonight a slightly more optimistic answer: “We’ll see. You never know.”

“I think if I did, it would be a song with my sister, because that’s the path she’s on, and I want to support that,” said Aliana’s Lindsay, 30, who released the single “Without You” in 2022 and covered ” Jingle Bells” for Falling for Christmas sound recording. “So I think maybe we could do something together, and that’s where it would happen.”
Elsewhere in ET interview, Lindsay reacted to learning that the 20th anniversary of “Rumors” and its music video is coming up in September. No way, she said. – That’s wild.
Looking back at the music video of the song, which he sees Confessions of a teenage drama queen star tried to hide from the paparazzi during a night out on the town, telling the paper: “God, I was a baby.”
