Kelly Clarkson just made a fan’s day!
The 41-year-old singer took to Instagram on Saturday to share a video of her surprising a woman singing on the sidewalk in Las Vegas as she joined an impromptu performance.
The Kelly Clarkson Show host was in town ahead of her performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival that same day.
“I was on my way to a sound check for @iHeartRadio tonight in Vegas and I was tipping this amazing woman who killed one Tina Turner,” Clarkson explained in his caption. “And then she asked me to sing, and she had no idea who I was.”
“And then it hit her and made my day!” she continued. “She’s the best hugger and sings her rap! See you tonight in Vegas ❤️ #iHeartFestival2023.”

In the clip, American Idol the winner sang Tina Turner’s hit song “What’s Love Got to Do With It” while the woman danced and clapped beside her.
As the video progressed, the woman then paused at one point and pointed at Clarkson, as she realized who was singing.
She let out a scream and raised her arms to hug Clarkson as the crowd cheered.

“I was like, ‘You sound so good!'” Clarkson told the woman, hugging her again.
“Are you ——- kidding me?” replied the busker, making Clarkson laugh.
“So good 👏🏻,” Ryan Seacrest wrote in response in the comments section.

Clarkson’s appearance at this weekend’s iHeartRadio festival comes after she wrapped up her Vegas residency at Planet Hollywood last month, where she performed songs from her album Chemistry — the deluxe version that came out on Friday.
Last month, the singer brought her two children with her on stage during her residency.
“It was the most magical thing to be on stage [with them] — I didn’t know it was going to happen, Clarkson said about their appearance on Today show Friday. “But the way my kids looked at me? They had a lot of fun on stage, first of all. But then the way they looked at me was like I was Thor! I was literally like, ‘Oh my God, they’re literally never going to see me like this again. to watch.’ ”
Clarkson shares son River, 9, and daughter Remy, 7, with ex Brandon Blackstock, whom she divorced in 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage.
